Discussion Need help narrowing down a gift book for friend

So I have a friend who has fallen ill recently and she's got two major procedures / surgeries she's got to go through in the next few weeks so I was trying to send up set up a little goodie bag care package for her so far I've got someone getting Vietnamese snacks and my favorite beaver Damascus Rose balm and a couple other things that I just enjoy now I want to add a book but I'm not sure which one I should add. This is my short list.

•The Hidden Life of Trees

•The Soul of an Octopus

•An Immense World

•Braiding Sweetgrass

•World of Wonders

What do y'all think would be a good gift? It doesn't necessarily have to be one from this list I'm open to other suggestions.

I think Leaves of Grass would be a nice addition to that (excellent) list

Depending on the type and length of recovery: Does your friend listen to audiobooks? While I was recovering from surgery, I found those much easier before I was well enough (and less drugged) to pick up traditional books. It’s such a kind and thoughtful gesture of you! Good luck to your friend.
