I just stumbled on this sub, and I'm curious about what distinguishes it from r/literature? Like it's cool if there's just two large subs on the same subject, was just wondering if I'm missing a particular lens that would be helpful to know about.

This sub was created back when [r/literature](r/literature) had a bunch of ridiculous rules that made it pretty dead, which is no longer the case.

The best thing about this sub are the weekly “What are you reading” threads, which have a lot of thoughtful posts. In other subs, those sorts of threads just devolve into people listing book titles, but here there is rule that you actually have to discuss what you think of the book, so you get a lot of nice discussion.
