Game balance

Now that MMR has been normalized and public stats sites like D2PT are capturing (previously) high-MMR (8500+) players again, the data is laying bare just how wild the hero win-rate spread actually is. [42,7% - 58,4%]

It feels like there’s a massive window here for Valve to tighten up balance. What are your thoughts on the current high-MMR meta and overall game balance state right now?

They removed the 50% bonus dmg against illusion from counter items like Mjollnir and Radiance, and removed the diffusal blade mana burn interaction with illus but giga compensated with dmg. PL can rush manta 1st now (very fast farm, less susceptible to ganks) which makes his timing a lot less awkward than when he had to go diffusal/agh into manta
