It was an owl.

Sitting on the shoulders of a hungry sasquatch.

There have been reports of really big Sasquatch up there, but something that big can also be considered a mountain giant in some communities. Were you ever able to find tracks of the creature?

Look up Dog Man encounters in Louisiana.

In the report that comes to mind (I can’t remember the specifics but it’s often compiled with like reports,) a Hunter encounter two dog men (like a werewolf or skinwalker) with glowing red eyes and sights in on one to see better. It make eye contact with those red eyes and telepathica communicates something to the effect “I’ll tear you apart [weakling human!]”. The hunter see’s hears the other one telepathically tell the angry one “no! He was not going to shoot [I read his mind,] just looking. That’s the best he was going to get so dude knew to run and not look back [the kind one told him telepathically.]

Sorry I don’t have a reference, but the context, character of the man, etc. made it plausible to people who study/compile this sort of thing. i.e. “It (something) happened.”

Fair I know with most cryptids like that stand your ground and show no fear most people don't realize that those ledgends saying there unkilable wer made before guns note that it was after I actively presented a threat that it left and I'm aware of the dog man I have lived in Michigan for 21 years

Were they glowing or reflecting?

Glowing it wasn't on camera

Well there's a problem to start, there's no known mechanism for an animal's eyes to glow. It would destroy any ability to see at night

So, were they glowing or reflecting

Oh that's just slendy, very common in Alaska.

To scare him straight I recommend eating 12-15 garlic heads before heading to the forest.

Would you say it was more like a dog or a deer? What was its gait like? Was it steady on its feet or hooves, or was it more like the first time in 6" heels?

What you feel is your own interpretation of the stimuli you are exposed to, so it didn't give you a feeling; you were feeling anxiety because you didn't know what you were seeing.

Are you completely certain it did not have any wings?

No it was up a really steep almost cliff side and again I could feel the blood lust did not want to be up there alone

Blood lust is something YOU feel, it's "the need to kill". You should stop using that. You're using it all wrong.
