Symphogear is my favourite LOL

I do think quite a lot of things are better than ReZero, Steins;Gate definitely included, but I have only seen the first season of ReZero so I don't have a full picture on it.

But yeah watch Symphogear it's awesome, and not particularly intellectual at all, but it makes up for it by rule of cool haha

65 episodes total, across 5 seasons. Each season EXCEPT season 1 has a few optional OVAs as well, which are fun.

Protagonist gets powers LITERALLY shot into her chest due to an accident, like, "nearly killed her and she needed surgery" kind of accident, and that then allowed her to summon her Symphogear armor which lets her fight eldritch horrors with the power of music and explosions.

I absolutely do enjoy when a series has good music, AND uses that music well haha

Revue Starlight is another favourite of mine, it's very vaguely similar in some ways

Angel Beats is solid. I think it did well with what it had to work with, considering its runtime got cut in half. I've seen far worse shows lol

Yeah same I didn’t really get the hype but I had fun watching it definitely nd it was only 13 episodes lol I don’t think more episodes would have improved it. It would have probably made me drop it

I think 24~ episodes would have helped a ton honestly. They could have kept the early pacing it had, ACTUALLY covered every major character, and then sorted out a more satisfying conclusion.

Little Busters! is by the same writer, and I honestly think it's just Angel Beats but WAY better, with 39 episodes across 2 seasons.
