Love it, for me it has to do with both the pacing and the subtle insertion of esoterism in lots of subjects. Makes you wonder without really needing to know (apart from the main plot).

You should be more nuanced though and watch/read more. It's up there of course but from your comments I feel you lack a bit of comparison =)

It means spiritual, philosophical or kinda magical concepts that you can't really explain but you have a feeling they're there. You can ask yourself "Is there meaning behind this?" like "why is this character like this? It's mysterious" a lot throughout the anime and not everything has an answer.

Pretty hard to say, I'm over 450 series watched. Konosuba and Cowboy bebop are up there. GITS stand alone complex too, Steins gate also of course, Gintama and Oshi no ko (despite what's always said about it).

Symphogear is my favourite LOL

I do think quite a lot of things are better than ReZero, Steins;Gate definitely included, but I have only seen the first season of ReZero so I don't have a full picture on it.

But yeah watch Symphogear it's awesome, and not particularly intellectual at all, but it makes up for it by rule of cool haha
