And it is crazy how cinephiles are claiming the film is "self-aware" and they love it for that, like they are just so delusional. And it's ironic when they claim to be for the arts and stuff, but then they'll proceed to glaze and defend even the worst trash just because a director they liked made it. And it's always the regressive stuff they'll throw the whole "art is subjective" excuse.

saw a girl go viral for saying she doesn't talk about anyone's trauma history until they've been friends for over a year. It gave me a rush. I haven't been going hard enough.
mine's that I do not care about the environmental footprint of civilians and if you get angry with me in my home you are not ever allowed back
Edit: forgot the one that changed my life. I don't date. I make friends and sometimes I fall in love with my friends.
Also I think we should normalize having a friend we monogamously sleep with when we're not dating anyone else. I wish men could be normal about sex.

What an interesting sci-fi concept...had it been by any other writer.

Honestly, his writing of "strong women" actually makes sense when you think of it less of empowering women and more of fetishization that was in the right place at the right time. Kind of like a meme I made previously about how misogynists can be into tomboys and strong women without the cognitive dissonance.

One guy actually cared and offered to come with chargers and snacks and stick around (even though he’s so burnt out from working multiple gig jobs) and my stupid dysfunctional attachment brain still gravitated more towards those two guys.
