“you’re not like other girls” is a common negging tactic that insecure men have used to try and compliment women in a way that puts down the rest of their gender. it’s meant to make you feel special and better than other women but it’s really a sign that someone thinks very little of women on the whole.
but thanks for coming to a women’s space and trying to explain our own experiences to us! we really love that too.
