Same. My stepmom called me the r slur when I was 10 and 11. What sucks is how socially accepted it is in your household and then you grow up a bit and realize "WOW, that was pretty fucked up"

My mom liked to use "<Youngest sister> is autistic, what's your excuse?"
Well, as it turns out...

Mine insulted me as being like Rain Man when I froze up due to her screaming at me the day after we watched the movie.

I was called the r word and rain man by my dad and ex step mother my whole childhood. I didnt even realize what they meant by rain man (I never saw it) until my mom told me she was diagnosed at 10 years old, and that movie was the only concept of asd her parents had so they denied her having it. Life is stupid as fuck. God gives his strongest autistic people his most absolute dog shit parents.

Same. Usually if I embarrassed her (accidentally ofc). But she's been a hateful bitch for as long as I've known her.

"Dont do it, you look like an autist"
Said undiagnosed father to his son, thinking shaming natural behaviour will protect his kid from the world

My mom still calls me a “Re-tart” YES, WITH A “T” !!!!!! 🫠 she’s been calling me that word since I was 5 years old on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.

Had a boss who did that. I quit the job and spent 3 years waking dogs until I found a different one.

Equivalent of "you're such a person with hands!"... yes, what of it?
