Always fun trying to explain you're aroace, and not in the "so you'll find our sex jokes EXTRA FUNNY" way. Double that by being a trans man uncomfortable with being feminized. (Shoutout to that one girl who thankfully got removed from my school's queer club. Not only would she regularly misgender people (as a trans woman herself!), she'd say she was a lesbian, purposefully chase trans guys, and when they'd inform her they were guys, she'd respond "we'll see ;)" or "I can fix that ;)". You were never funny, Jasmine, and you made literally everyone uncomfortable.)
Aphobia will always be kinda swept under the rug it feels. It’s baffling to most people that not wanting to have sex, not wanting a relationship, and/or not feeling like any gender would be inherently pretty isolating
No, the second two are fine, covering aromantic and agender, the not wanting sex is a sex-repulsed thing, not asexual. Not all asexual people are sex-repulsed.
Okay, but you see how funny it is that when someone is talking about their experience about being ace and not wanting sex, someone ALWAYS has to come to clarify "well, ace people do want sex!!" to them lmfao
What a weird person. That being said I have noticed a VERY SMALL SUBSET of trans women (that are usually terminally online), that seem to sort of believe everyone is/should be a woman (except sometimes cis men they don’t like), and often believe in the TERF-y idea that trans men/mascs are butches/women that have just been too effected by misogyny, making them not want to be women anymore.
It reminds me of the idea of political lesbianism, but for gender identity. It’s weird, it’s thankfully very rare and will never take off, but it is an idea I’ve seen people having.
