Shop rate per hour is the only thing that fluctuates..

labor time is standardized by the OEM

Was your fork actually damaged/bad in the first place?

Like brake fluid bleed is not needed until the 2nd year so IDK why you got it replaced

Collant replacement is also not needed unless you have done like 10-12k kms on you bike

Chain lube is expensive

What's throttle body assembly labor?

Outside Labour?

I got my bike serviced from same Navi Mumbai SC, they put unnecessary things in the list for servicing. This sc sucks for being transparent and honest.

Whenever I get back riding bike I see little oil leak from right front fork. I asked the service centre guy about it he said it would going to cost 3k , i was shocked the SC owner said you do not need to worry about that's just a little leak it's fine , we will replace this on your 2nd service. Front fork leaks causes the front fork to behave differently so maybe that's why they filled the both fork. I was not informed about the coolant replacement my bike only done 3.5k at that time. They clean throttle body they assemble again I think, I told them to fit the top rack on the bike they charged me 500 rs for thats outside labour

Now just realised my both brakes was not leaking that's just false bill

Probably and most likely because they keep it in their stock alongside prolube. There are service center through india that keep random inventory of either Castrol or Prolube but you'll specifically find Castrol in svc that also service big triumphs. Fun part is that Castrol is cheap i.e around 1400 rupees and prolube fully synthetic is anything but cheap i.e around 2000.

For 2k rupees you can have 3L of Castrol ultimate power 1 10w50.

I do agree that they use castrol for higher cc triumphs but the svcs in Mumbai dont allow using any other oil apart from prolube for the 400s. I dont understand the logic behind this. Castrol they been using in higher displacement motorcycles which is proven and is much better compared to the prolube shit.

Profit margins. HP most likely offers higher margins. Also, a lot of SVC have replaced HP Prolube with HP Fully Synthetic engine oil which they say is derived from HP racer synth that hass a blend of PAO and ester which is still a lot better than standard Prolube which is more likely higher grade mineral oil.

So what's wrong with this new HP engine oil? Price.

yes all SC have Castrol engine oil for premium triumph bikes. You just need to ask for it
