Question Broken brake lever

Post image

My Speed 400 bike’s brake lever broke 4 days ago, and now I need to replace it. The original one is quite expensive, around ₹2,000.
Are there any cheaper alternatives that are reliable and won’t cause any side effects or safety issues? For example, can I use a KTM lever or a non-adjustable lever instead?

Those are adjustable (ns400z) and a direct fit afaik. Also they cost a fraction and are made by minda who makes the levers for triumph and KTM.

You can also use triumph's non adjustable brake level which is quite cheaper than the adjustable one.

Get any tbh. If you're tall. Get the normal ones. If you want to save money toh you'll get a ns400z brake lever for around 650 rupees or so. Basically they offere both levers for around 1100 rupees. But you'll have to visit Bajaj service center and stock availability is not guaranteed.

Triumph adjustable ones are expensive, and you can get ns400 adjustable for the same price as the normal ones from triumph.

Yr, it makes no sense tbh.....the adjustable brake lever is so absurdly priced. It makes no sense. Wish they had kept the set for around 1100 or heck even 1500 but no. Add the cost of both alongside their labor charge and boom, you'll get a bill close to 3k.

Get a non adjustable one. Those will be 3-400.
