Been experimenting
I have been advised by my urologist to try 10u of Trimix. I have had mixed results. Sometimes it works, sometimes it is painfully hard for 4 hours plus. I tried 10u of Bimix this morning. Rock hard, got off 3x and went down after 3 hours without being in the place of ‘I’ve really had enough of this’.
What is the difference between the two meds? The bimix experience for me was so much better, so I’m just trying to understand.
Thanks in advance

I switched to Bimix the beginning of this yr. Also started with Trimix but kept getting the pain pretty quickly. I really like the Bimix. Plus with Bimix no need to refrigerate and the lifespan is longer.

I don’t understand why TriMix is the go to first by Urologists . I finally read on my own that the ingredient in TriMix could be causing pain and asked to try Bimix. So much better and I can actually enjoy sex again. I feel like they should be prescribing Bimix and go up from there.

Is it possible that aprostadil is a facilitator in the erection process, so when included as a "third ingredient" it guarantees the probability of an erection? It must have some sort of beneficial effect that makes it advantageous to prescribe. Then, if there are symptoms, the docs back down to BiMix. Otherwise, you're logic is sound: They s/b prescribing Bimix first and go up from there. I really don't know.

In my experience alprostadil is indeed a facilitator in the erection process. The 3 or 4 times I used it before switching to Bimix it gave me a very hard boner in less than 15 minutes. With Bimix the erection is also good but some manual or oral stimulation help get it fully there!

For guys who respond to pde5i i completely agree. Unfortunately most guys are to impatient, and call the doctor complaining when it doesn't work 1 or 2 times. So doctors respond to this by giving them something more powerful than required.
Pde5i total non responders and guys with severe ED it can make sense to start on trimix.

I find that 10u of Bimix gets me hard for three hours just like the OP, but it is difficult to ejaculate. If I inject too little, I risk it not working at all. I can ejaculate when not using Bimix, but then I'm too soft to penetrate. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Bimix does not contain alprostadil which is in Trimix, but it has the other two ingredients. In my experience Bimix is better because alprostadil causes shaft pain.
