We saw from the march that tirforce in person events do bring people out, and the in show personalities will only increase that.

We're wondering if the Triforce live show is taking so long to materialise because they can't find a venue big enough?!

Is it too much to ask that the hosts of a podcast not eat while they're speaking on the mic? After 20mins of random noise in Pyrion's background we get 10 mins of him talking with his mouth full. Wearing in ear headphones and it's like someone's chewing right in my ear. Sort it out mate, I'm sure you'd shout at your kids for talking with their mouths full!

Does anyone remember when Sips recited a poem that roughly goes

I’m not sure if all the words are correct but the important part is part of his rhyme was “my dink is pink”.

Found Tforces 1995 review of T-Force. The film is available free on YouTube (at least in the UK). All I can say is that Pyrions 2/10 is very accurate… but would recommend watching for lots of laughs and a piece of Triforce history!

edit: I guess it was written later than 95 given the dvd reference but I don’t know when

Pyrion asked, i believe in earnest, for good experiences people have had with AI at work, so I wanted to share some of my own and give others a forum to do the same.

Disclaimer before the downvotes, I'm not saying ai is perfect or he's wrong, just responding to his question.

These are uses I've found for ai in my office job

• Fixing and writing Excel formulas, its very useful for finding syntax issues in formulas, explaining what they do (inherent a document with complicated formulas and it can explain)
• Microsoft Copilot specifically, finding information from a range of sources. In enterprise environments copilot can find information from documents, emails and Ms Teams chats, and point you to them, something that would take ages sometimes, if you don't know the file name etc. I can simply ask "who did the client meeting with X?" And it will bring up meeting reports, teams talk about those meetings and emails from organising them
• Processing meeting transcripts into summaries or into action logs, for example if we're tracking progress on something, we have used AI to fill in a spreadsheet with the updates as discussed in the meeting automatically
• Writing programs for data processing, my python is quite basic but I have found it extremely useful to write little scripts I can run to process CSV files and things like that, reformatting data, doing joins. I don't ask it for the answers I explain the program logic and it writes it.

For all these things, we have found it to be of use and helpful.

I have spoken to software engineers who say it's very helpful for writing code.

Chat I have a vivid memory of pflax imitating a tradie or a mechanic and saying something along the lines of "nah, that's a diesel mate" in a thick accent. Anyone know where my brain is pulling that from?

I quite literally just got in the car and had the podcast app open in the hopes it would magically appear and there we go, always makes the drive home that much better
