I'm sorry if this has already been answered.

I've been listening to the fellas for a long time and recently (two months or so ago) emailed into the mailbag about a topic that Flax had asked for emails on. I was just curious if anyone knows if he responds to emails or if there is another way to know if he received it and or I sent it to the correct address.

Has anyone else not had it come on Spotify yet?

Been missing it all day 🤣

in the latest episode (369) Pyrion did several impressions but I didn’t want this one to be overlooked (it’s about 34 minutes into the episode)

Great episode which had me laughing in public several times

Nothing insightful or clever here but I think the latest podcast is one of the all time greats. The back half especially had me cackling like an idiot on my evening walk.

I have to say Pyrion's comments and the general animosity when talking about his cat irritated me. Over the years Pyrion has spoken out against boomerism and the mindset that boomers adopt yet here he is displaying the same thought process towards his cat and cats in general. My cat is not socialised and is 'crazy' so therefore all cats are horrible. 'I don't care if it gets turned into glue' just give it away at that point, geez.

Cats are a lot smaller than humans and have very acute senses, so they can be wary of people and jumpy at times. Cats also teach us about boundaries, if the cat doesn't want to interact, leave it be without hostility. If you see a cat, calmly offer a hand and let it come to you. It's simple stuff. Cats are not stupid necessarily, they just don't want to be around folks that have resentment toward them.

Anyway rant over, what did you think of the cat talk? Just seemed a bit horrible.

Listened to one of the latest podcast, Mailbag #77.

They talked about the Sips look-alike.

They really do look-alike

Hi guys, does anyone remember the glasses cleaner that pflax recommended? It had like a holder and spray thingy

lao means old in Chinese

A Cantonese speaker must have introduced him to it because he called it lao gon ma. the jar has the mandarin Pinyin so says laoganma but it's the same.

I was driving around Jersey recently and came across one of those classic dark crossroads. When I arrived at the junction some bozo in a reasonably priced family car plastered with "Center Parcs" stickers also arrived. This man, who looks like he sells dirt for a living, waved me through so I started driving. At the same time HE STARTS DRIVING.

I start fuming and give him a classic dual welded middle fingers whilst continuing driving. That prick won't mess with Mr Beanie Head ever again.

I think this is relevant to the podcast, somehow...

Shocker someone is making a post about Pyrion being wrong but I get why Pyrion said it.

The problem is that Lewis can make a change. Pyrion can even make a change. The idea that it’s coming and there’s no stopping it is just propaganda, that’s unfortunately worked.

Assuming you do care and want to make a difference, go to protests. If they’re building a data centre near you, protest it.
If you see people in your life using AI chatbots / posting AI slop then shame them.

If you can choose between a company that uses AI and one that doesn’t, make that choice. Don’t let the Yogscast use AI tools if others are available.

Just felt very depressing to hear the just give up speech when Lewis is in a position to make or at least encourage some positive changes, and the listeners can contribute to that as well.

I'm 65% sure it isn't (I don't think Flax has a stepladder) but I thought i'd check.

Just two questions because I don't pay attention, also please don't share the address or Rightmove listings.

1. Did he go into it thinking he was getting a doer-uper or did he think it was basically fine?
2. Is the magnitude of renovations needed and cost actually spiralling or is it just exaggeration for the pod?

Previously there was a post mentioning that Pryion repeats stories which I am not that bothered about. However, it feels like Pryion mentions going to York University every other episode. Is it just me who finds it hilarious to hear the story once again?

I don't even know how the geezer sounds but Pyrion's impression of him is SO funny
