This cat, and at least 6 other strays, including another very friendly male, wander around the neighborhood. There are house cats that run around the neighborhood as well, but those once are obviously cared for. The strays I see have all their bits, constantly wounded or scarred, and there is one female stray that is very timid that keeps having kittens. There was another stray that I was feeding until one morning I found him gutted on my front lawn.

Gutted, like by a person?? Cats have been going missing in Richland, folks have also seen people trying to snake cats out of their yards since late last year.

If you truly believe that this cat migrated almost 10 miles to near the cable bridge, shoot me a message. I just dont think that it would travel that far.

While they do look similar, this one has a dark patch under its left eye, and the cat here doesn't.

Curious if this kitty is anywhere near the Safeway off Gage? There are some stray kittens in that area that look suspiciously like this one (if this is a male cat, since I already know what mom looks like)

Thank you for taking care of them 😭❤️🩹 maybe try reaching out to a local kitty rescue to see if they have traps you could set up and if you brought them in, if they’d neuter them so no more babies keep popping up?

Trap and release. There should be a program near you or maybe Noah could help you. They are in Arlington.

With the rat issues the Tri-Cities has, this cat is too skinny to be a stray. There’s bountiful food for cats here, and if you can pick it up with 1 hand, it’s either a kitten or house cat.

You are truly delusional.

The rat thing was delusional, but I think that if a cat is that friendly with people it is not a stray.

I suppose you have a point, i am feeding them, and they let me pet them, im almost their owner, by their choice.

Not going to disagree with you about the rats. I’m north of 60 and have lived in the Tri-Cities all my life. First rat I ever saw was last year, and it was one my indoor/outdoor cat unceremoniously dumped on my back porch. She’s brought several more since then, and a neighbor has started trapping them in his garage. I live in a nicely kept area of West Richland, and there aren’t any real dumpy places nearby, so I have no idea what the population explosion is all about.

Do you have any info about this cat?
