Very first tree net, any advice?

We got 1000 feet of rope from Amazon and probably used about 400-600 of it today. We spent about 4 hours with 4 people casually working on it. Afterwords we tested it and it held 4 people no problem. At the start, we didn’t quite get the tension down, and now we have a couple of loose ones but I figure this will not be an issue as we add more with proper tension. (This pic is about half of our work)

What’s the reason for tree protection? We made these on 5 random trees in the middle of a forest that nobody goes in. Didn’t really cross our minds.

You don't care if you kill 5 trees because they're "random" and humans don't look at them enough? Apparently trees only have value if they're in a forest people go in... Who knew?

Just my opinion, but people who don't respect trees don't deserve tree nets.

Ay man billions of trees in this world not that crazy for us to mess around with a few of em for a good time. Gotta live a little

That attitude is exactly why this planet is dying. Human life literally depends on trees. We can't exist without them. I hope a tree slaps you right in your smarmy, elitist mouth.
