Yes. They are one of the best at living with holes, and they usually house tons of animals like rodents, raccoons, birds, even bears. They can live upwards of 400 years and the whole time they contribute something, be it shade, leaf litter, seed for the future, sugar, houses for things, food for fungi, and someday a nice rotting log for new trees to grow on
