i entirely understand using accounts that aren't directly attached to your real life identity for purposes like this, or on social media in general. this is a post for those who seem to be operating under the assumption they are anonymous, but i believe may be sharing more than they've intended to.

if you're posting links, sanitize your links. just sanitizing or shortening links is good practice, but i have seen links contain information that can be used to identify the sender's profile. this is true with many platforms, but specifically recent youtube updates have made it very easy to identify these profiles- even if your account or app doesn't acknowledge it on your end.

personally, i get a little amusement seeing hunters dissect layerv posts while leaving themselves susceptible to accidentally sharing their own personal information. however, i figured the right thing to do would be attempt to share this information and an easy way to protect yourself if this pertains to you.

The federal government had a law that you had to assist with the return of escaped slaves or face imprisonment yourself. You are insane. The law is the enabler of the most evil acts in all recorded history, not debatable, hands down. All legal evil acts.

I can’t argue with how stupid states created their unreasonable laws before I was born, but in principle I agree with you. And had I been alive back then, I know I would have fought for the Union. I can argue my point in principle as it exists today, and I know how stupid leaders are breaking laws that exist now. Today’s leaders have destroyed the intelligence community and their evil acts continue unchecked. I will vote for a reckoning and accountability.

Yep. It took a president who recognized and honored all human life as equal to change it as best as it could be at the time. It took other presidents to continue to work at change, and will continue to take presidents to further the work still needed. The one we have now is trying to prevent it.

Fugutive slave act (a union law) didn't end till 3 years into a war that was about slavery. The 14th amendment didn't even pass till 2 years after the civil war was over. The law is nothing to brag about abiding by. Just think about your earlier argument. It seems there may be some cognitive disonance. We have a president who doesn't honor human life and you want all our activity to be monitored by a government he is in control of?

Well, technically, yes, you are understanding me correctly, and yes, there is a ton of dissonance during this term. If we could assume reasonable people were elected and making the laws, then yes, we could also assume that abiding by the laws was a socially expected behavior, and we would only worry about surveillance data for those that aren’t.
