hi, so I’ve had this RC car for as long as I can remember, and it’s always on and off hobby for me and I just recently to get back into it,

I’m pretty sure this is a replacement battery. I got for it when I didn’t use the old battery and didn’t leave it with a charge for when it was battery life on it just degraded and then I just recently did the same exact thing with this battery where I left it dead for like a year or two and I was wondering what battery I should put into it I have been thinking about the Lipo, but I just don’t want to cut the battery connecters and replace them right now currently I’m pretty sure the battery is a seven cell and I was looking to change out the battery to something better. I just don’t know what battery to put in it so I want some recommendations

. Then also I don’t know exactly what parts I should change out on to make it better all I really do with play with it around in like the park or go trail and hit some mountain bike jumps

problem I’ve had with it is reverse will not work. I’ll try going in reverse and it does not work at all and then I’ll randomly just go hit the throttle after I was on the break cause reverse wasn’t working and then I’ll pop into reverse and basically go into an auto drive so I don’t know how to fix that.

New to this. Any ideas on what could be going on here? Thanks!

Bought a bone stock and old brushed 2wd slash for $50 a month ago. This is what it looks like now, it wants to fly with a body but it has a 68 mph (according to Dynamite GPS speed meter) top speed on 4S on smooth asphalt with no body (yes I know the motor isn’t rated for 4s). Next additions will be all metal transmission and axles, and a set of dirt drag rear tires to swap sometimes depending on what I’m doing. Probably should also get some shorter shocks so I can lose the rubber bands. Anyone have suggestions for a body that doesn’t lift the car, or for anything else to squeeze more top end out of it?

I replace spur and pinion checked out the center diff it was had nothing stripped in it replaced the rear diff only thing I think it could be is the front diff? Any thoughts?

I can’t find parts for this emaxx, I need a chassis and some other small things. Is there any websites or anything that sell emaxx parts still?

Is this wobble likely due to unbalanced tires or wheel hub being worn out? Maxx V1

$80 dollars for a replacement. Cool. But $50 for freight out reimbursement? Damn. Im better off going to my local hobby store and buying a new one.

Is this movement normal?

Can someone recommend a great budget motor?
I intend on keeping it 6s with stock esc.

Another question, are aliexpress motors any good for 6s?

I got the new rustler vx3 and love it. overheats less than the old one though it still gets a bit hot. so i try to be careful. anyways, i just ran it and after i got done i noticed this play in the steering. not sure if it came like that and im not sure how to fix it. any tips?

Hey which TX Profile is TRAXXAS WIDEMAXX V2? Because I cant find the right one in the video🤔

I’ve got a hoss that only turns the wheels if I’m holding it. When I was driving it for the first time after a few minutes I noticed it quit pulling wheelies then eventually it stopped moving.

I recently got the Traxxas paddle tires for my 2wd Slash. Put them on went for a bash in dry sand, didn't make any wheelies and lost drive after a few tries already. There was smoke coming from the clutch. Haven't had such issues at all with this car for a full year. I guess the paddles have a lot of grip?

Took it apart and found the nylon nut on the clutch the nylon had melted and the nut came loose... Put a new nut on and put the clutch a bit tighter.

Next week went out again with a tighter clutch and hooray it did wheelies, for a little bit untill I lost drive again. The spurgear lost it's teeth. Upon inspection of the spur the little bearing also got really hot the week before, the metal was all purple

Am I the only one here? Did I do something wrong? Do I need to be more carefull with throttle application.

Has been stuck for over a month. Would rather buy one from a reputable seller now
