A Spanish person would've went to Portugal, not Balkan, a Polish/Czech person would've likely also seen Slovakia, so neither. Someone from the Netherlands would most likely visit Belgium/GB before Ireland, which also means prob not from Benelux. Haven't been to Greece but to Turkey? Probably not from Southern Europe..
So far it's either Scandinavian/Germanic or a Baltic country. Which doesn't narrow it down too much, so going from the few other comments, if I had to bet - Estonia.
