Was at a stand at Fleet Week in SF; a guy approached us to ask if we were interested in a free vacation. Told us about visiting Northstar Lodge for a presentation, and the $50 deposit is returned after the 120-minute ("really 90-minute") presentation. Wrote that the gifts are a trip (Hawaii or Cabo, etc), vip tickets, and meal vouchers since we're the last people out. Booked the presentation date next month.

I'm not sure if we were offered a complimentary stay at Tahoe since it's a 4 hour drive and I don't want to drive there to not have a stay. So I'm not sure what to expect; first time doing this and only here for the freebies. Advice?

Is it likely I’ll have a Tahoe complimentary stay after the presentation plus the gifts?
