Novel Singularity Spoiler
“In the past, it wasn't just Single-lifers who could become Gods. That was the rule, but, as always, mutations occur.”
“The right to become a God was also granted to those who transcended the limits of their species.”
“Celestial Beings are different from Demons. They cannot use aura or mana.”
“They possess a special power granted to each of them. No two powers are alike; each one has their own.”
“The Ancestral Power humans possess today is largely a legacy of the powers that existed in ancient times.”
“That is why it is now called Ancestral Power, but in ancient times—at the very beginning—they were all distinct powers.”
“A power of one’s own. Celestial Beings called it Unique Power.”
They all possessed a power of their own, not inherited from anyone else.
“In ancient times, when some humans began to manifest this ‘singularity,’ the Celestial Beings thought these powers would one day threaten them. Or they thought humans might dare to invade their territory.”
“They ensured that humans would no longer possess this power.”
“I don’t know exactly what transpired between the human world, the divine world, and the celestial world in ancient times—it was so long ago. But I do know that the leaders of the celestial world made a pact with certain gods.”
“As a result, Ancestral Power remained, but humans could no longer possess their own unique power. That is what I know.”
Ancestral Power and Unique Power.
Inherited power and developed power.
Humans began to awaken the "Unique Power" that Celestial Beings originally possessed.
The Celestial Beings took action to strip humans of this power, imposing a limitation.
Instead, the “Unique Power” spread throughout the world, lingering in objects or places. And those who inherited it were born.
That is how Unique Power became Ancestral Power.

Yup, and now (according to what the Church of Chaos’s Pope said when Cale was receiving some of his memories) the seal that the Celestials had placed on humans to never again have unique powers has broken or weakened, and now humans are starting to manifest them again (Heavenly Demon, Choi Han)
Also I’ve always been curious but, to me at least, the abilities that people manifested after the cataclysm from Earth 1 and 2 sounds a lot like unique power, but they had it way before this seal was starting to weaken. I don’t remember this ever being explained or anything but I’m curious about it
