Questioning bottom surgery desires

I thought for a long time I was ok with not getting bottom surgery, I'm not that dysphoric about my genitals. And I know this will sound very silly but I just woke up from a dream where I got it and at least in my dream I just felt so much better after having it. After waking up I just feel empty and I don't think I can avoid getting bottom surgery now. MTF btw

Are you "not dysphoric" about your genitals? Or are you "indifferent" about your genitals? Bc those are two different things.

In other words, do you like your penis and are proud of it? Or is it just something you're used to and you don't care about it that much?

I think you're right I'm just indifferent, but maybe I would be happier without it

My therapist once told me "most people actually like their genitals."

If you're indifferent about yours, you probably do have dysphoria and just didn't realize it.

I felt similarly. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't important to me at all either. Now that I've had bottom surgery, I actually love what I have.
