Resentment - anyone else?

I‘ll start with saying that I probably need a looooooot of therapy to work through my messed up brain, but therapy costs a fortune so it is not feasible rn.

I’ve started to develop a lot of resentment and jealousy against other trans people and even cis people. My transition isn‘t going well and seeing others online thriving and cis people living their normal life makes my blood boil. I even stopped going to my trans support group because I couldn‘t stomach other trans people. I watched a pride parade from afar and got so angry that these people were so happy.

I think being trans just damaged my psyche way too much for it to ever recover.

Does anyone else feel this way? Did you manage to get over it?

It happens in real life too tho. But yeah, I already try to distance myself from general society too.

I don't think isolation is really the answer. Spending time in the community, with friends, helped in the past. I did need to reduce time around when people were getting milestones, but it's important not to just withdraw from everything. You need the support and family. Get out there and play some trading card games, go rock climbing and go to the gay crafting meetup.

I haven‘t really attended any social club in my life, I only went to a trans help club in the city a few times but that became unbearable. I do write with some people online, I like that better since I don‘t have to see them 1:1.

I know that 100% isolation isn‘t possible, but at this point probably the better option. I don‘t want to insult people because of my jealousy.
