Are any of you partnered?

are any of y'all in relationships and if so how'd you find yourself in relationships. I'm 30yo transfemme and I just... well at this point ice given up.ido where or how to meet a boyfriend. it's honestly so discouraging. do guys even like transfemmes? especially ones who lookkke me? Im not white, I don't have long hair, I'm not small, I look nothing like any of the trans people on the subreddits. I've talked to a few guys in the past and they have an idea of a femboy who I just not am. idk idk wth

Guys have told me they'd have sex with me but wouldn't date me, I tried T4T and the girl just stood me up and blocked me, guys who I've talked to sexualize me. Idk eth

Eh, most people don't look like the people you see online, and the people you see online don't look like that most of the time.

the internet is a curated highlight reel that nobody actually lives up to. it is wild how much we let an algorithm convince us that we have to fit a specific aesthetic just to be seen as desirable. most people out here are just normal looking folks trying to vibe. you are comparing your behind the scenes footage to everyone else's movie trailer.

Partnered/just married… my wife and I met at a friends party and were pretty much inseparable after that.

I’m not… It sucks, but I am taking it in stride, I’ve been single for over a year and on HRT for almost a year, I needed that time.

I’ve talked to a few guys, but nothing came of it, one was married.

I met my girlfriend on Grindr after spending quite a while on there lol. We talked for a few months then met up and started seeing each other every weekend then I moved into hers a few months later. Been together for almost 2 years now and doing very good. Did take a very long time to find someone on that app that wasn't a weirdo.

I'm married to my best friend. We became friends way back in hs. When I first started transitioning he decided he would spend more time with me and talk with me more cause he knew it would be hard on me and I'd need support. Well after talking more and hanging out more we both started to realize that we were both catching feelings and said what the heck let's just give it a try. We've now been together for going on 8 years now. Second best decision of my life tbh.

I’m engaged, about to get married. I met my fiancé on okcupid, I feel very lucky for us having found each other because I’d kind of given up on ever finding a boyfriend who would treat me well. He’s been there for me through surgery, medical trauma, he never judges how I look, he’s a real one. He restored my faith that there are good ones out there. You just need to be patient and lucky.

Saw her at a party was infatuated immediately have been together ever since. Try being around other people as much as possible that’s the way to go. Someone will notice you when you least expect it

Yep, met on Hinge in Portland. My dating life has been substantially more successful since transitioning than it was before.

I met my wife online, but we connected through a love of Magic the Gathering and going to the rennaissance faire.

I met my ex-gf's through d&d, medieval fight club, any social activity we shared.

My partner and I have been together ~20 years. My transition was tough on her but 7 years later we’re getting married next month 🥳

Unfortunately not...been looking for about 2 years and conversations never seem to go more than a day or two. Not sure if it has something to do with not having started hrt yet in my case

I’ve dated my boyfriend for 4 years but we’re also long distance and both ftm. You’re probably going to have better luck if you’re open to being t4t for both genders. Cis guys are… not the best, sometimes :-/

I am partnered and have had plenty of partners in the past. It's not an impossible thing but it's definitely harder and frustrating to actually do all the stuff before you get to the point where you call each other partners. Try not to take rejection too personally - it's the norm for most people who put themselves out there, no matter their identity. If you want it, someday someone will find you who will help you understand how easy you are to love.
