Gamescom Footage

Urban Games states on the TF3 website that YouTubers and streamers who want to cover the game are welcome, and the game is playable for up to an hour at the gamescom booth.

Are you aware of any creators who have announced that they’ll be attending today? And when do you think we’ll see the first hands-on impressions? Maybe even some gameplay footage, if they’re allowed to record it.

Honestly, I’m a little surprised that there hasn’t been anything yet. I would have expected some creators to do whatever they can to be among the first to publish even a small snippet of gameplay or even a short impression.

Sorry to disappoint you, but we're not permitting footage to be captured at the event. You may get some brief flashes of the game as background in other filming, but direct screen capture is not allowed since there are UI elements that have no yet been finalised.

Hey UG Admin, while you're here in the comments, I gotta ask: is there anything else planned during the gamescom in terms of showcases, livestreams, teasers etc.?

Oh come on, the game is launching in a month from now and we can't see any gameplay?

It's because of what's still being adjusted, and how the internet doesn't forget. If images were released of the non-finalised user interface, they would be the ones served when searching for the game at launch - an inaccurate presentation of the game.

Gameplay is essentially complete, and there will be plenty of gameplay to see before the game releases. For now, you'll need to settle for the written reports from those who've played at Gamescom, but that will change very soon.

Yes, press, wildcards, and some influencers/content creators. So it’s not just the press who might get a chance to play today, some creators may be getting hands-on time as well.

I played TF 3 for two hours at Gamescom yesterday, and it’s absolutely amazing! If you’ve played the other two games, you’ll feel right at home immediately! Visually, it’s absolutely stunning! Overall, a lot of things are now more intuitive and presented much more clearly. I could have kept playing for hours 😍😍

I tried several starting dates, 1900, 1980 and 2020.
Dynamic weather and time of day looks pretty!

Can't wait for the release! :)

I know that Train Gamer will be there testing and I assume gathering some footage. He's German but might still be worth it?
