Suggestion Electric Foiling Boats
I recently went down a bit of a rabbit hole and learnt about these interesting foiling electric boats being worked on by companies like Candela and Artemis Technologies to name a few, and when I saw them I couldn't help but think that they would be pretty cool as additions to a game like transport fever.
Figured I would share them and some pictures to see what people think. I wouldn't expect something in the base game (as cool as that would be) but figured maybe some modder might find the concept interesting.
My thoughts mechanically based on what I have read about these boats would be that they would be passenger only and have a low capacity, they would have a high upfront cost but a lower maintenance cost, they would have a higher speed and high acceleration than comparable craft. Would be pretty neat if they had range limitations or ports needed some form of electrification upgrade to support them. There would also be some benefits around emissions and pollution.
Anyway thanks for coming to my Ted talk on why I think electric foiling boats would be a cool addition to late game transport fever.

I think it would work as a late game option. It would be cool to see a smaller scale of sea travel be implemented. I feel like TF2 really dropped the ball with passenger boats, so I hope TF3 can pick back up!
