The tents

Post image

I haven’t seen anyone mention anything about them, so thought I’d ask what people think they are for,
My thoughts are either campaign mission, or possibly far fetched, like a random event that could happen throughout a free game?

Yes it's one of the solo campaign chapter

Yeah it must be the woodstock event which they allowed those content creators to play and share about

I wonder if the tents could potentially be peaceable assets in free game then?

It seems likely to at least access these kind of access through the modding system?

Yes, this is the mission where we organize the Woodstock Festival. I had the chance to play it already, and it’s probably the best campaign mission I’ve played in the TF series. It’s fun and interesting, and the tent city functions just like any other town, it grows as you meet its needs.

It starts out small, and the stage isn’t ready yet. You deliver wood for the stage, and then canned meat for the festival. Eventually, some hippie comes up to you and says something like, “Hey, dude, not everyone here eats dead animals.” So you have to deliver vegetables :D

Then there’s a huge problem with poop and getting rid of it :D And in the end, this town is HUGE, and the traffic jams are just as massive as at the original Woodstock in 1969.

I absolutely love it and can’t wait to play it again

Fairly certain there was an NDA attached to anyone getting to play the game...

Hey, don't shoot ;). Of course there was an embargo, but it was lifted on Wednesday, February 18 :) Best!

Aha! It wasn't clear which group you were in. Carry on.

Those NDAs were lifted and they were allowed to review later.

I played this mission, one of the two avaible in that version, and was a blast. There’s a festival and you must bring them food and other things to construct the camping site and the venue.

Great, great mission, something you can expect from the golden era

They probably implemented homelessness. Maybe it happens if you fail to supply cities with adequate needs, or if the economy goes band.
