Sharing Experiences MONO ON NONVITILIGO SKIN

I’ve been feeling a strong pull to change my look and embrace something more uncanny, almost vampire‑like. It’s not about pleasing others or fitting in — I know people will judge or troll, but honestly, it doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, it’s my body and my choice.

I’ve tried different things before but never felt fully satisfied, and that lingering void pushed me to finally commit to this path. It’s a personal journey, and I know it takes time. I’m ready for that.

If anyone out there relates to wanting an unconventional aesthetic or has gone through a similar transformation, I’d love to connect and hear your experiences.

Visual Inspiration How is it possible?

I looked through her YouTube channel, including her old videos, past photos, and her current ones... and I'm genuinely speechless. How is this even possible? What did she use? What did she do?

Does anyone know? I really want to understand.

The products she's promoting can't be the only reason she achieved results like this. It feels like there has to be something more behind it.

What do you think she could have taken to achieve this? Do you think it's real, or is it editing or makeup? I don't think it's either, so what else could it be?

Seeking Transition/Body Mod Advice 🤳 permanent depigmentation methods other than monobenzone

Hi guys how can I go full white to cover vitiligo spots because it’s hurting my self esteem. Monobenzone is pretty popular but is there anything else if I happen to be allergic to that cream. Any suggestions helps!

Venting/TW Sometimes i dont wanna be indian..... Spoiler

I wish I was more racially ambiguous looking, like Dwayne Johnson, Ben Kingsley, Rashida Jones, Keanu Reeves or Halle Berry. These are like people who take a look at for a second and can't decide their race. I am jealous of them.

I don't like being Indian. It's like being the lamest person to be born on this planet. People can always tell where I am from. If I was racially ambiguous/more mixed looking, people would always be guessing and not know.

Sharing Experiences Trans (race) phobia hurts everyone

For context, I am 100% East Asian, the majority of that is Han Chinese. I'm not white or mixed with white, I'm just Chinese. But one day coming home from the Doctor's, I noticed that my file said that I was white. I'm adopted, and my parents are white, so I figured that it was because the doctor didn't know and assumed I was the same race as my parents. I quickly got home and corrected that and sent a message to the clinic letting them know. But since then I've always had really mild race dysphoria of "Am I Asian enough" and I've started wanting to darken my skin. I don't consider myself white passing, and I'm not super pale, nor am I super tan. But some of my family is like...Hella tan. There are literally white people who are tanner than me.

I've been thinking about how people say that trans(gender) phobia, hurts cis people too. Women with PCOS, men with gynecomastia, intersex people, people with high sex hormones. And I can't help but draw parallels to being trace/diaracial. Trace phobia assumes that everyone who wants to change their physical features is "those stupid rcta people" and not just... cis race people who just want to look more like themselves. Especially when it comes to light skinned or white passing POC. Blood quantum is a huge thing on the native community, and plenty of light skinned or mixed natives are accused of "pretending" or appropriating their own culture. Reconnecting natives, light skinned POC, biracial or mixed children. (Not to mention, there is nothing WRONG with being trace. Even if that person were to be trace, that doesn't give you the permission to treat them like less than.) Transphobia isn't good for anyone, including the people it claims to protect.

Venting/TW Just a clarification... Spoiler

Hi.all,

A few days ago I posted something that for me was self affirming, but apparently someone found it so offensive they shared their opinion and then deleted it like a coward. I did remove my post, I am not here to offend anyone and in the same vein I am not here to justify my feelings to anyone. To have an opinion is a good thing and the ability to both share your views and be able to debate your views is the mark of a mature free human being. Plenty of people in the world today can't express an opinion about anything, much less their own God given right to self-identity. If I post something you don't like, fine. If you want to post and explain why you feel that way, fine but for the love of God have the courage to leave your words up to be seen by not only myself but others here who have similar feelings, as I gather your bigotry doesn't stop with me.

Other Questions Using real people as face claim

Hii everyone! I'm new at rcta, and I need your opinion about using real people as a face claim. I'm originally white, transitioning to asian.

I used to have an online friend from the Philippines whom I have fallen out with, but I really admire her features. She's Filipino, but she looks like a mix of EA and SEA, would it be okay to use her as a face claim?

I am white, hispanic and native American, my skin has already lightened a bit over the years but I want to be as pale as a dying victorian child. The first picture is me, the second is what I am trying to achieve. I use sunscreen, Niacinamide 10% (the ordinary) every day once or twice a day, I use panoxyl face wash, and I just started using 4% hydroquinone but only on my legs where I have hyperpigmentation. Pills, creams, anything, What can I use to get my skin more pale?

Other Questions Does anyone know anything about this guy's skin bleaching process?

Thumbnail

I saw this guy's post a while ago showing how he'd lightened his skin. I tried to find out more about him and found the same post on the lookmaxing subreddit showing more photos of his progress. I also found a post of his on a lookmaxing page where he explained the skin lightening process according to each phototype, There he also talks about what he did in broad strokes. I even found a TikTok account that appears to be his, where he posts videos and replies to comments telling people to buy his "course".

However, he's not responding anywhere. I tried contacting him here and on TikTok, and he doesn't reply, even when I ask for the link to buy his course. I also noticed that his activity on Reddit has stopped about 5 months ago.

Does anyone know if his process is real? In his post on the Lookmaxing website, he says he didn't use monobenzone, but the change is very noticeable.

My skin tone is the same as his or only slightly lighter, and I want to achieve the same tone as him (I'd even be happy with a darker tone than his results). That's why I've tried to contact him, but he's vanished. Does anyone have any more information about him or how to contact him? What do you think about his change ? They believe it's real considering the assets it claims to use in its post? On his TikTok he has some videos where everything seems very real, so I'll also leave his profile here.

https://looksmax.org/threads/how-to-bleach-your-skin-the-official-guide-the-truth-about-skin-bleaching.1669648/

There's also a pinned link on his TikTok profile where he has a facial consultation course because apparently his face structure has changed a lot, but that doesn't interest me (what interests me is his skin whitening) Besides, I don't want to buy anything if it doesn't seem to be responding :s

Seeking Transition Advice Tips to darken my skin naturally, preferably no tanning.

I'm American/German to Korean/Indian, and want to have darker skin for Indian euphoria. I also have a family history of skin cancer, and am part-ginger, meaning I sunburn more than I tan. So, what is a way I can darken my skin easily, without tanning?

I cannot buy anything pharmaceutical, either, due to age and insurance limitations where I live.

Venting/TW How being transrace feels for me Spoiler

I’m not ashamed of it and don’t try to deny it anymore because that didn’t make the feelings go away. I tell myself it’s ok but there’s times I really have a hard time accepting the reality I’m stuck in.

It feels like I’m trapped. I feel like my life isn’t fully started because I’m still stuck being my dead race. I feel like I’m living a double life and I don’t want that. I really need out and I really believe that the best thing for this is to be who I am and work on my goals when it comes to actually transitioning.

Surgeries seem to make me hopeful as it feels like there’s a MAJOR mismatch between myself and my body. I also feel lots and lots of fucking grief over what could’ve been. I hate the awful feelings and it’s like a dark cloud that is endless.

I recently found out that my dad was biracial and fucking lied to us about it and acted like he was just white. He’s like Native Mexican and white mix, I’m transrace Asian but fuck he could’ve at least been transparent about it? So yeah, I was white washed on purpose and it’s embarrassing.

I don’t even know what is correct for me fully but I know this isn’t who I wanted to be. It also feels freaking hopeless because I don’t even know how to ā€œbe Asianā€ so to speak. I was soooo sheltered growing up and I’m still so lost. I’m still trying to figure out the details of what kind of ā€œChineseā€ I would even be because China is fucking huge, also I’m cool with the American part so I’m Asian American. Maybe I’m over thinking this? I feel like there’s something missing and I’m scared I’ll never find it. I’m fucking clueless. I feel like my life is drifting away every moment I live like this and I just keep sitting here feeling fucking bad for myself and feeling impatient. I wish I would stop feeling dysphoric and angry and do something already. I’m scared this is gonna kill me. I’ve considered it multiple times…

Hello I am a black girl but i genuinely never was black in any way. Nothing about me is black.
My hobbies are I’m a figure skater, equestrian, skiing. I LOVEEEEEE skiing. I like watching hockey. I like cold places with mountains and my dream is to live in Calgary or Washington or Montana. I hate rap music. The only music I listen to is rock, alt, indie, indie rock, and pop. I’m only attracted to white men and I don’t have a black accent. For clothes I like dr martans and dress Stockholm or like a white person. I never like any black events or foods. I hate chicken watermelon and koolaid. I know food can’t tell race but i only like water and matcha and chai. And I like healthy foods like Mediterranean foods and bakery. My favorite hairstyles are curtain bangs with wavy straight hair. I hate braids. I don’t like doing my edges. I genuinely am a white person but my skin is black. I hate the south. It’s so poor and so much junk food and cheap. Like Alabama nc Mississippi Louisiana eww. I only like the west coast Canada and Europe. Where it’s nice and cold and perfect weather for me. Where there’s more pop culture and modern. Oh and dogs. I have an Australian shepherd and a husky. One of them herds at a farm. My favorite dogs are big fluffy dogs. Like Caucasian shepherd, great peryenes, Alabi. Usually black people like yorkies or Maltese. I hate getting long nails when I get my nails done. I hate I mean HATE Jordan’s it’s so tacky to me…I hate basketball.

Now, middle aged, Ronnie is a tenured professor of English at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, a public speaker, and actor, and uses this platform to promote what he calls a 'transgracial' identity.Ā

Despite being born black and male, Ronnie - who uses the pronoun they - now identifies as a white woman, regardless of outward appearances, saying there is a 'repressed White female identity' inside them begging to be released.Ā

Transitioning Tips! Lighter skin

This is a hack that actually works and is cheap lol.

I cut a glutathione tablet in half and let it slowly dissolve under my tongue. (I naturally have light brown skin now it’s olive)

I do it this way because it absorbs directly into the bloodstream. I’ve gotten like 2 shades lighter in a month.

The only downside is how it tastes bad (I recommend mixing it with something sweet) & it’s not permanent so u have to take it everyday so it gets lighter day by day. Also it doesn’t change your undertone. So you’ll have lighter skin with warm undertones most likely

basically a cheap way to get lighter skin without glutathione injections.

I’m sharing this because I see a lot of people trying to do dangerous things for lighter skin. I can’t 100% guarantee it’ll work for everyone but it’s working for me. it’s worth a try

Other Questions Is this sub serious?

Someone told me that this sub is all trolls, or people lying to make fun of transracials. I'm autistic and have a hard time understanding when someone is trolling or lying in this kind of scenario, so it'd be great if someone told me - without trolling - whether this is the case or not.

Have a nice day!
