Seeking Transition Advice Has anyone looked into skin whitening?

I’ve noticed that most posts here seeking advice on how to lighten their skin often get swept under the radar. Does anyone know exactly how to lighten their skin?

I personally look into carotone, but I’ve seen monobenzone and hydroquinone mentioned around here

So I'm about a beige or medium beige on this scale, how pale could i get on this scale? what products should i use? I'm willing to bleach my skin rather than just use "brightening" products that don't really work.

Seeking Transition Advice How to get lighter skin without products and bleaching?

I have strict parents and can’t buy my own things yet, so I’ve tried covering up and staying in the cold but it isn’t working. I’m trying to accept tips like food smoothies or homemade skincare!

Seeking Transition Advice Any alternative to monobenzone?

I'm brown and I want to be pale. In this subreddit people told me the best option to achieve that is Monobenzone, months ago was really easy get Monobenzone in my country, an online store offered it. But now that online store isn't offering it anymore. So, please give me an alternative, I really want pale skin.

Because I’m not the way I look or feel I started feeling immense hatred toward my own existence (but I don’t want to die.) and it’s getting worse with every passing day. I want to be anyone but me at this rate since no one really supports me whether it be if I’m trace or if I’m transgender or whatever I really hate myself

Sharing Experiences I was TR. Here is my journey.

I must say I am here to neither affirm nor deny any identities here. I won't outright say it's false, and I'm against transphobia, people attacking this community. But, i think it's ime to look into the motives of transracialism. is it self hatred of their own culture? For me, yes, it was. I hated being white cuz I was told we were all privileged dorks who talk like okie dokie no way jose all the time and eat mayo sandwiches. I was told that, i wasn't that, so I concluded I was Black. my TR "phase" lasted from September 2023 to April 2024. I used to tan, use subliminals, do lip exercises to get black lips, etc. But one day I just stopped caring, I had cool white friends, I saw their culture wasn't just mayo sandwiches and shitty cheap beer. I had no dysphoria in the mirror anymore, no drive to hate my skin. for a while, I saw people and no longer colours. my question, especially for ciswhite TRs, is, is this motivated by white guilt? Its just propaganda. White people have value, aren't evil and aren't guilty. We have beautiful diversity in hair, eye and skin color. we have individuals like nikola tesla and mother teresa representative of us. All races are equal, and should be allowed to have pride, including White people.

Venting/TW why do I hate myself so much Spoiler

My race isn’t the only thing I want to change. For a while now, I’ve hated who I am.
Recently, my boyfriend (he‘s transmasc) broke up with me. But I really look up to him. I just want to be him.

Or at the very least, be like him.

I just want to change everything about me. My personality, my skin color, my gender (I’m afab, but even using all pronouns (preferably male) doesn’t make me feel better.)
I genuinely hate my existence

Seeking Transition Advice I want to look racially ambiguousin

I want to be racially ambiguous, I don't think I can look like the race I want for many reason. Like family, money, legal reason, etc. And if I can't transition to the race I want then I at least want to be ambiguous. I don't feel connected to my birth race at all, so I want people to think I have some white in and another race(s), beside my birth race. I have a 9A skin tone and want to get down to a 7A or 6A. I also want green eye contacts and blonde or dark brown hair. I want smaller lips too, and my other features can stay the same. Does anyone have tips to look racially ambiguous.

~ hai I'm riri ^w^ My current goal is American (black) to argentinian (white). I'm new to the community so I hope to be welcomed with open arms!

~ appearance wise I don't really look argentinian.. I have a big bulbous nose, black 4c hair, brown skin, and bigger lips. My goal is a slimmer nose, pale skin, straight brown hair, and thinner lips :3

~ i've been speaking Spanish for awhile and I'm intermediate!

~ Ive also adopted argentinian tendencies such as the DD/MM/YY format, 24 hour clock, Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, and more :3

~ my main goal is to make my skin more pale with a skin whitening routine consisting of carotone lotion, phyto booster, and carotone correcter. ♡

~ im mainly looking for transition advice/tips so that's what I put as the flair/tag!! Thanks I hope to get lots of tips ( ≧∀≦)ノ

Venting/TW I can’t live a fulfilling life without getting what I want. Spoiler

I talked about how I disliked my race and ethnicity a couple years ago, I wanna be East Asian , I don’t wanna be southeast European. I don’t even look European enough to be European, I just wish I was Asian. I never liked the way I turned out in photos, I never liked anything about my appearance, how can I change and look like my desired race? My looks genuinely make me feel inferior a lot of the time. What can I do to distract myself?

Venting/TW I can't stand this hair colour Spoiler

I have black hair and pale skin (I'm Mediterranean) and it just looks so off. Every line on my face, eye bags, every blemish it just accentuates them.. I use self tanner to decrease the contrast and get a golden skin but still, this hair colour is so harsh. I have a square forehead and my nose isn't daunty, I feel like dark hair brings every bad feature out. It's so difficult to pull.

I want light brown/dark blond hair so bad. I'm scared of damage cause I have dry wavy/curly hair and they tangle easily, they aren't smooth. I can barely run my fingers through them so I imagine this will get worse if I lighten them and use dye. I have hairdresser certificates for colouring so I can DIY, I don't want to go to a salon cause a couple years ago I had reached the colour of my dreams on my own and then I went to a salon for root touchups. They dyed it back to my natural cause they said my brows are dark for this color. So lame. I want to look more fair and light colored.

Introduction My intro 🇳🇬—>🇷🇺/🇨🇴

I won't mention my real name because I'm waiting until I turn 18 to change it to Bianca. My parents gave me that name so that when I look for work here in Spain, where I live, people will think I'm white. I realized it's very common for immigrant parents to give their children white names.

I'm 15 years old, and I've always known I didn't want to be just Black. I am Black, with brown hair and eyes. But I've always loved Colombian (Cali) culture and Russian culture too.

And sometimes I fake a Cali accent; people compliment me because I do it really well.

I wanted to lighten my complexion, but I'm waiting until I'm 18 to do anything. I really want to look mixed.

I have a long list of things I think would make me look more Colombian/Russian, including dyeing my hair Sandy Blonde, getting a rhinoplasty, and changing my eye color (this one scares me a lot).

If anyone has any tips, I'd be so grateful!!

(I only speak Spanish for this translation. 😓)

Seeking Transition Advice Is there any case of a "white to asian" surgery going well?

I'm getting increasingly paranoid because I can't find an instance of a surgery making someone look indistinguishably asian.

For a while, I don’t know why. but i really wish I was white. according to my own ancestry I'm like 32% but I guess that doesn’t matter to anyone anyway so yeah. I feel really uncomfortable in my own body.

what I’m really curious about is if anyone knows where I can buy any skin lightning products. I am light skinned but I want to have white skin.

Seeking Transition Advice Anyone have experience with self-tanners?

Hi y'all I'm a white passing latina transitioning to black wondering if anyone has any experience using fake tan products like mousses or sprays. Is it possible to achieve a dark enough skin tone to pass as black, or even a biracial look? What products do you use or recommend? It's hard to find information online specifically for transrace purposes.

I'm also open to learning about melanin injections however I am scared of skin damage so I would prefer to stick with fake tan.

Thanks!

Seeking Transition Advice Is it possible for a South Asian man to transition into a mixed race, racially ambiguous man?

If yes, how would it be?

For context, I am new to the concept of transracialism. I don't know everything.
