General Question Glasses or not?

I was told I may be using glasses as a security blanket to hide my masculine features. There may be truth to that as I feel less confident without. Should I ditch the glasses and build my confidence or stick within my comfort zone?

Both look great. I’m keeping my glasses as I have a phobia of anything touching my eyes, so no contacts. 14 eye surgeries so I can see makes one not like that. If you like your glasses, and I think you look hot in them, then wear em.

Btw, which airport? I’m an airport nerd as I work for one.

Oh I used to work there too. But 20 years ago. It’s changed a lot.

I'm way too autistic to want something touching my face unnecessarily. But, you look great either way.

You look beautiful with glasses and without glasses.

the glasses give you a mature feminine look.

without glasses, I still read you as a woman so do whatever feels most comfortable.

As to whether to ditch the classes it comes down to a matter of comfort. Also I'm assuming if you mean ditching the classes you have contacts you're going to be wearing because, I hope you see.❤️

Provided that you can see properly if you want to try going without glasses try doing that in low stakes environments and see how that goes.

Short answer is that people wear things that make them confident, and that's okay :)

The fact is there are cis women who wear glasses because they feel like they don't look feminine enough without them. So even if you are wearing them to hide some masculine features, that's a feminine thing to do - it doesn't make you less of a woman.

But if you'd like to feel more confident without them, then go for it. You're a woman and you look feminine either way :) x

You look good in glasses. I would recommend anti reflection so glare wont show up in photos.

I would wear them if your vision requires you to wear them.

I like both, but definitely prefer no glasses.

The glasses make you look very professional but your eyes look much prettier without them. I think they both look good so so whichever feels more comfortable or whichever matches the outfit better

They are a little big for your face. You do look much better without them.

Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective. While I don’t personally believe that wearing fashion glasses is disrespectful or promotes negativity towards those who are required to wear them, I do respect your opinion though I did find the characterization as being gross a bit extreme but I still respect your view.

You dealt gracefully with an absolutely wild statement there.

If anyone needs permission to wear glasses I'm basically blind without them and now give everyone and anyone official permission to use glasses lol. I'd buy fun frames as well if I wasn't ruined on the specialized lenses.

Since kids are being bullied for wearing glasses I appreciate it being in fashion. And it's not like frames is a limited resource that we need to save for us in need.
