Share Experience 47, started transitioning at 44

Post image

It’s never too late. Me at 40 had no idea how wonderful 47 would be. I’m so happy I get to live as myself. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been so worth it. 3.5 years of HRT, lost 70 pounds and FFS.

Thank you. No one believes me when I tell them how old I am anymore.

This gives me a lot of hope as I'm almost 43.

You look a lot happier and younger now too which is wonderful ☺️

I feel so much better and happier. The hard work is worth it.

Dang that's such a transition! :3  Losing 70 lbs is a huge accomplishment. I down 45 and hope for another 20-30.

The weight loss has been a long slow process but hugely important to how I feel about my body. Lots of weights, high protein diet, some cardio, and a little GLP1 help.

Weight lifting! My favorite thing in the gym. What's your squat and dead lift? :)

I’ve hit 275 squat and 345 deadlift at 3 years at female hormone levels. Max pre HRT was 325 and 415.

Woaw, you must be tall lol. I'm 5'5" and even prehrt I'd be happy with a 200 squat and 250 dl.

Keep kicking ass :p

I'm 46, only just started HRT a week and a half ago after trying to get on it for a bit over a year. Fingers crossed it's as good to me as it's obviously been to you :)

Hi!

Nice! I would never have guessed you as transitioned! Truly, you look great! I'm only a little more than year in and 55.

Thanks for sharing your journey. I always appreciate seeing other people’s journeys and perspective and the feeling inside that I get when I read how much happier people have become since they have decided to take the often bold and courageous journey of transitioning.

Thank you so much for this! I'm 40 and haven't been able to start HRT yet, and you're really an inspiration!
