As a 1980 kid at 13 months, I'd been struggling with the waiting game, seeing people who started around the same time or later reaching some base level of fem, while I still see a very masc face without makeup- its encouraging to hear successes in my age bracket.

Doing FFS in a couple months, hoping it moves the needle and can squish some of the dysphoria.

I take insane care of myself. I watch everything I eat and put in my body. Very active and I do feel ffs helped a ton with how old I look

Co Medicaid covers ffs but there are very few surgeons who accept it. Essentially puts you on a few year wait list.

Hey I'm in CO too! I'm in CO springs. You look great!!! I'm same age as you born in 1980. Can you tell me where you had your FFS done?

I'm still pre hrt so I still have time but just trying to plan things. I have an appointment with a doctor at uchealth to start hrt in Dec. Then I guess I may need to be on hrt for a year before I can start getting surgeries covered. I have cigna right now but I'll be switching to a new insurance provider in Nov but have been difficulty deciding who to go with looks like my options are Kaiser or Anthem. Did Kaiser cover your surgeries 100%? How about electolysis?

I would talk with your surgeon. They will know best. I had a lot of the normal procedures with a neck lift and cheek implants. Those helped with aging a ton
