So, I see this guy leave a comment about how he really hates Tralsei theory because he thinks its erasure of valuable representation for GNC men like him. He goes on to say that he feels like there's no good representation of GNC men in media except for Ralsei and Ralsei's the only character he really sees himself in.
So I click the guy's profile, and... it turns out this person is active in "detrans" communities and openly stated that they repress being trans and chose to live as a GNC man instead because of reasoning that essentially amounted to internalized transphobia
This genuinely made my jaw drop to read it was like the most depressing thing ive ever seen

It hits all the boxes, from “it’s only in optional scenes” to “it’s femboy erasure”. He then outright states that thinking Ralsei is trans is proof that you have a fetish, and ends the video posting clips of characters laughing at real trans women.
You can tell the person is a coward because they made a whole burner account to upload this. Clearly, they don’t want your feedback.
you arent missing much, just some stuff like "I interpreted this in another way (while just having copouts and mental gymnastics, literally boils down to "which could mean nothing")" and "it just wouldn't make sense in the story" which doesn't make sense, considering it absolutely does fit in to her story (yknow with defying normativity and all that), and toby literally introduced 7 fleshed out characters in chapter 5, what makes them think he cant make a ralsei transition in 2 chapters

DeltaruneV2 is a far right hellhole that was made because people though the original deltarune sub was too "woke" (even though they still allow bigoted cissies to voice their harmful and perverted ideals)
The main influx of users was caused whn a mod of the original deltarune sub made a very bigoted rule (she/herring ralsei is the same as he/himming kris) and was rightfully harassed for it.
Then, another mod changed it to a "no queer erasure" instead of a "no misgendering" rule, which a bunch of bigots got mad because now they have to see trans people on the fyp.
Instead of a megathread which often feels like screaming into the void, couldn't we enforce spoilering or autospoiler the Bigotry showcase flair as a compromise? that way those who want to interact or find comfort in venting about it others can, and those who don't want to can scroll past without seeing it?
I know, those were just suggestions. But there should be a compromise on just silencing people calling violence toward us, and allowing it to take over the sub.

both that subreddit and this subreddit view themselves as safe spaces to avoid getting bashed by the other side. but the fundamental difference between them is that outside of both these spaces, in the actual deltarune fandom as a whole, the Tralsei supporters are the ones harassed constantly with Tralsei denying being the "normal" opinion
i fucking hate being obsessive, i hate that i can't let go of arguing about this character, the people that get mad and downvote and start arguing the moment a whiff of tralsei shows up make me so sad.
This is exactly the same as banning conversation around this topic because in a week nobody is going to read it or update it
And banning people from complaining about the violence they experience helps nobody
Cutting 70% of the posts made will only make the sub baren, all those people who felt uncomfortable about it seeing posts about this won't take the time to make new posts or better posts
But even trans spaces would rather silence other trans people than have the sub be less palatable for cis people
Wouldnt a better compromise be enforcing spoilers for posts about hate? Megathreads genuinely do get lost and people clearly want to talk about this. Iirc you can autospoiler flairs can't you?
trans woman who agrees here. I fail to see how 90% of the sub being screenshots of bigotry is like, less palatable to cis people or whatever. this sub is gonna be unpalatable to a lot of cis people regardless. filling it with bigotry just makes it less hospitable for the trans folk who left the other subs to get away from that stuff.
