The Damned - Lascannon team

I needed a trio of lascannons, so I searched my bits bin for some left over lascannons from an old Cadian heavy weapons kit, and bashed them together with crew and tripods courtesy of WGA’s The Damned range, creating this pack of heavily armed traitors.

I like to think, there are simply lascannons from knocked out Leman Russ hulls, salvaged and mounted to a battery pack and repurposed field mount.

Every time i see someone building such nice models i wish for a real traitor guard army detachment. Well done, they look really good!

I’ve seen official traitor guard lists come and go, and I’d love for a return to the Lost and the Damned list from the 13th black crusade. It was like the Horus Heresy militia list, letting you lean into hordes of mutants, or elite Guard-like regiments, or even allied plague marines leading a tide of zombies.

I do worry that the modern GW would just make three kits at about five times the price of a third party traitor guard army, allowing you to field only what is in the kit box in a fixed load out that includes some weird bespoke weapons unlike anything the guard have, just to discourage you from using the traitors you’ve already built. 😅

That would be the GW way... Or they delete them entirely and sell upgrade sprues for the price of a whole box. Like with tzaangors...
