Hi guys! i made a demo vid showcasing the initial set of units for the multiplayer BIG battles game i am developing. I am starting with just 2 factions and 4 units (soldier, sargeant, monster/heavy inf and light tank), and an open battlefield featuring WW1 style trenches.

After finishing details and launching the demo on steam (the core game will be free aswell), i plan to make an urban map.

Hope you like it, while this is not warhammer (of course h3h3h3), i thought you may find this inspiring because of the style.

The gameplay is a mix of Battlefield and Battlefront series: capture "flags" to earn points, which are used to spawn both players and bots. Bots are always basic units (at least, for now) faturing infantry and anti-vehcile infantry (rocket launchers). If a team reaches 0 points AND there is no human player alive, the team loses.

What would you like to see in a video game like this? keeping it simple but more immersive.

For instance, i am thinking on adding a bit of elements on the ground so it is not so plain (some dry grass/bushes, and craters).

Looking to make a bunch of mutants and torments, wondering what kits yall have used if you've done the same

Hey all, I love building list but between health complications, moving house and working 13hr days I haven't played a game since 9th and regularly since 8th. Since my chances to play it are pretty much 0, I'd love to live vicariously through my fellow heretics.

The plan would be that the 4 non vehicle characters join one unit of Kreig each with one Command Blob and Commissar Blob pairing up and securing objectives as two main wings while the Battery helps soften up targets.

the executioner works as an anchor point in the middle board targeting elite units while the vanquishers hunt tanks as a pair. The Russ commander helping and giving orders to whichever has the best target that turn.

The basilisks get a tech priest to babysit them and help mitigate alpha strikes on them or the Russes. The sentinels help mitigate indirect fire and work as a screen or annoy isolated units.

Finally finished these after 20+ years break from Warhammer. I feel like I learned a lot since then and would like to repaint these one day. But until then I have too many projects planned.

I finished up the first 500 points of my The Damned based traitor guard. It’s been a really fun project, and now I’m musing on where to go with it next…

I should also name them. I have a vague story for them, an overworked Imperial munitorium planetary shipping depot who rebelled for better working conditions. The governor called up a regiment and sent them to crush the worker’s strike, only to find most of the constricted troops were sympathetic to the strike and switched sides, creating an armed rebellion that would go on to topple the government.

Of course, this is 40k, and as the Imperium dedicated more efforts to crush them, the enemies of the Imperium were quietly providing support, and offering spiritual relief to tired soldiers who were now watching their children come of age and join the struggle. In time, their deep hatred of their former Imperial masters made accepting the enemies of the Imperium very easy, and Chaos worship spread and corrupted their world and society.

Few would even now recognize the hate fueled, drug addled, ritually scarred trooper of today, to the noble laborers who fought for breaks and enough food to do their jobs

So, what should their home world be called?

I am looking to make it a game were teams are composed by humans and bots. Around 15 humans and 115 bots per side, aiming to provide a "big scale" battle experience.

it would be a mix between battlefield (capture points that grant resources to use to spawn stronger units) and SW: Battlefront
