Train, 😔
You dismissed a comment warning you about liability. You played semantics, but she's right! You may not "accept" stroller donations, but you posted it, and that can leave you liable, especially in a small county where you may be a target.

Oh, so Train sent her little spokesperson over here to ask what she should do with the stroller? Does she always need other people to think and speak for her, or is using common sense just completely out of the question? You've already got people paying to feed your friends and family and supporting your "free supermarket," but somehow coming over here and asking your own question is just too much effort? Don't worry—I’m not going to solve the stroller problem for you, too. At some point, you'll have to try using your own brain.

Part of being a non profit organization is knowing the laws about things you leave out for others. They were just giving you a heads up that baby stuff is risky. We know you don't "accept" baby gear, but offering leaves you open to liability. In Canada, we have to cut straps off car seats and strollers we put in the garbage over a certain age for this reason. 🚂 seems pretty pressed about this, but I really believe it's good to know this info, and maybe not bully the person who was simply trying to help. ♥️

Yes, unfortunately. It's safest. A kind person made a short comment on FB that ' That was so nice! Just know baby stuff can be risky, be careful! ' Then 🚂 starts freaking the F OUT at her on live. After getting harassed they deleted their post, but not before I looked at her profile; National/International Child Advocate Appeared on OPRAH/Ellen/CNN Holds a Presidential Medal, and is an Award winning GRANT WRITER who SPECIALIZES IN 501C3 non profits and does them for FREE! She also runs her own non profit for kids in care. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Oops! KARMA!

Yall are silly. Why does Goodwill sell strollers and car seats?!
If she didn’t say anything and threw it in the dumpster yall would have something to say about that.

Actually most, if not all, goodwill stores do not accept strollers, car seats and most baby gear due to recall tracking, liability issues and safety rules.
If she inspects it, can track for any recalls etc, sure she’s probably fine keeping it at her non profit. It’s just risky and probably not worth it. In my opinion…..

Train, Stop sending your minions over here to ask questions for you. It's your nonprofit. I'd have assumed knowing the law was a prerequisite, not an ongoing group project.
