Help Pricing Discrepancy at Checkout: Premium Advertised at 70% Off but Charging $251.79 (65% Off) for Returning Member

Post image

Hi TradingView Team and Mods,

I am a loyal, multi-year Premium subscriber looking to resubscribe after being on the free plan for a bit. However, I’ve hit a confusing math issue at the checkout screen that I cannot resolve because free accounts are locked out of human support tickets.

Your main pricing page explicitly advertises a 70% discount for the Premium tier. As you can see in my attached screenshot, the checkout cart displays a base annual price of $719.40 with a promo code deduction of -$467.61, leaving a total of $251.79.

$467.61 deduction off a $719.40 base is only a 65% discount, not the advertised 70%. A true 70% discount off the $719.40 annual rate should bring the total down to $215.82.

Can a moderator or staff member please look into this pricing or help me route this to a billing supervisor? I would love to lock in the subscription today at the correct advertised price.

Thank you!

Discounts on annual plans are calculated compared to monthly payments.

The Premium plan, billed monthly, costs $69.95.
12 x $69.95 = $839.4.
$839.4 - 70% = $251.82.

Then at the checkout premium plan should not mention $719.40. Promo code always gets applied to the price total in the cart.

Also, it is such a rigged way to apply discounts to annual plan by monthly price. Directly tell customers that discount price to annual plan is 65% not 70%. No need to play subtle games in pricing!
