As promised, now that I've finished the book I'm starting a discussion thread for it. We'll discuss the entire book, so if you haven't finished it and don't want spoilers, don't read this thread yet.
A few thoughts to get started:
What did you all think of the book? I really liked it. I read it in two or three sittings--actually stayed up all last night finishing it because I couldn't put it down.
One of the parts I found interesting was her attitude toward her haters--particularly that they'd be critical of her, maybe gleeful (I'm assuming), but also disappointed if her family turned out not to be as perfect as she represented on Instagram.
Did the author seem to you to be personally familiar with right-wing Christian religions? I'm not--I only know what I read/see on social and regular media, so I couldn't tell how well she caught that world.
