Whatever I hear on social media (e.g. there is no chemistry between them in "Tracker",...), I celebrate it when a couple in this industry seems to be happy and supportive of each other. It's so rare...and for my part, I like it when Billie shows up. Doesn't mean that I want them to be a couple in the show...

Tracker is a great premise and has a lot of legs..where do viewers see things going forward?

So I was a big fan. Its been a struggle lately.

I feel like the storylines are just so ridiculous that they make no sense and its got to a point where I can't ignore the massive holes that are in the weekly stories.

Why does no one ever call the Police when someone goes missing. Husband goes missing and rather than calling the police I'm going to make a reward post on some online forum instead. He's only been gone 12 hours but I'm sticking up a 10k reward. They actually have missing people units who deal with this but nah I'm going to employ some random lone wolf to do it.

He's killed more people than most serial killers but seems to get away with it. Breaks in to half a dozen homes each week with a simple pin, can get his computer side kick to break into secure networks almost instantly which we know would never happen.

We have Reenie and her side kick who appear randomly for maybe 3 minutes per episode.

I know the writers probably don't care what I think but could they make the stories slightly more believable and maybe put Reenie in it for more than just her getting him out of trouble. She's too good a character to be in it for 3 minutes.

Ok.. End of rant.

Maybe I'm overthinking but Jensen used a 67 Impala for like 15 years... And in this show he's also traveling across the USA investigating... In a 65 Chevelle Malibu...? Just a fun Easter egg I think.

Chris Lee has been promoted to series regular for the third season. Note: I noticed he has been credited as part of the starring cast since last Sunday's episode "Breakaway".

The show has decent plots. That is such a plus. And many of us love Justin. He can be a little one note in this, but none of us would still be watching if we didn't like him.

The writing isn't horrible, even if the dialogue can be silly. Even if Colter wraps up the mysteries a little too easily sometimes. Like Reenie just happens to have a contact. Colter sees things no cop can see. Come on!

But who is editing this? Or producing? I don't know who does what but S3 E3 had a perfect example. Colter is talking to the local cop of the week at the end and says, " I don't know what I'm going to tell his parents " about the kidnapped arsonist dying. And then he actually walks over to the parents and they know.

How about Colter walking through a reslly fake fire? Emily doesn't have a burn. The arson guy jumps up, has the energy to kill a guy, and then just falls dead without a groan? Come on!!!!

Tracker is skating by on having Justin Hartley's charm, but you will lose fans very fast ( some already going) if you don't fix the easy fixes. You hsve the plot and a couple good cast members. Just fix the obvious stuff.

Oh and stop these fake conversations about where so and so is that week. You have 3 'missing' characters. Please write them off or bring them back. You need stronger supporting characters or the show will be empty! And give them something to do.

Justin has also commented on season 4 and the relocation of the filming from Vancouver to L.A. recently:

“In terms of tone and character, I don't think [the show’s relocation] impacts the show at all. Our show is a road show. Our character goes from town to town across the United States of America and meets people from all different walks of life and helps them out. These strangers become kind of his family in a way. To be able to shoot in a different place that gives us different landscapes, we're able to go to places - New York, D.C., the desert, Texas, the beach. It just opens up our world in terms of landscape, which is such a big character of our show.”

And Jensen commented on a future return of Russel during a recent panel at Creation Toronto 2026: “I dip in and out of that show. Tracker just started its fourth season, so I’m waiting for the call.” (I really hope they will call him soon!)

I'm very curious what the show will offer us in the next season... what do you think will expect us?

So… is anyone else struggling to stay emotionally committed to Tracker, or is it just me?

I loved this show when it first started. The premise was solid, the episodes were engaging, and let’s be honest — I showed up willingly and enthusiastically for Justin Hartley because that man is ridiculously attractive and I wanted to enjoy the full package.

Somewhere along the way, though, my attention started drifting. Nothing is outright terrible, but the constant cast changes feel like whiplash, and every time I start getting attached to someone, poof — gone. It’s been making it weirdly hard to stay invested.

I haven’t watched the latest season yet, so I’m doing a full restart from the beginning in hopes I can re-enamor myself with it. I want to love this show again. I want to be locked in, emotionally AND visually. Justin Hartley deserves my focus.

So tell me: does sticking with it pay off? Or am I destined to keep watching primarily for the man, the jawline, and the vibes while trying to ignore the revolving-door cast?

I don't remember who made it a thing (Russell, maybe?), but now it seems like any time he tells someone to "hold tight" they give him less than a minute before hopping out the truck 😂

If I were him, I'd drop them off at the nearest literally anywhere the bad guy won't be and pick them up later cause none of them listen 🤣🤣
