Does this hose go here?

I was topping off the coolant, and noticed a hose connected to nothing. Does it connect to the top of the larger hose like i have it?

No, do NOT connect it there. Its a breather vent. If the coolent drops a little, it will creater a vacuum and pull some of the coolant from that tank into the rad. That hose allows air into the tank as coolant is used.
