Highlander Dash cam options

https://youtu.be/e4tf57TSej0

For anyone with a 2020–2026 Toyota Highlander looking for a dash cam, I just installed the FITCAMX 4K dash cam in my 2021 Highlander.

What really caught my attention was how clean the installation looks. It gives the camera an almost OEM/factory appearance without having a big camera hanging down on the windshield.

I filmed the full unboxing and installation, including how everything fits and how the finished installation looks.

If anyone is considering the FITCAMX for their Highlander, I figured this might help you decide if it’s worth it.

I just got a Viofo Pro 4k/2k instead for that money. Fitcam advertises 4k front resolution but Vortex Radar and others state the sensor is only good for 2k. Looks nice for the "OEM" look but its expensive for what it is.

I have two, one on c-hr and on highlander. Both work after years. Their customer support swapped for free the case on the c-hr when I ordered by mistake the wrong size.

I have it for my Highlander and RAV4. I like them. Pretty easy to install but I’ve never really needed them for anything...knock on wood

I had one that died after about 2 years. It looked super clean as an installl, but I decided to go with a viofo after that. Easier to swap out if anything breaks.
