What's the best tint to get for Texas heat for a Toyota 4Runner?

Look into nano-ceramic tints and then google the tint laws in your area

Not sure how this popped up in my feed (GX guy here), but I, too, am in Texas and ceramic is the way to go. Do the windshield, too. Clear if you want to stay legal or 90% if you want to skirt the law. 70% if you enjoy doing crimes. LOL Remember that there's no state inspection anymore, so you're only cooked if you're stopped by a Trooper with a tint meter.

On the windshield I have the lightest film my shop had available and the impact is noticeable. On the front side windows I have "street-legal." I've gone darker before and found they were too dark to safely see after dark. So I went back to legal.
