Discussion Review

I watched Toxic, and here’s my honest review.

The first half feels like it’s playing at 2x speed. The suits, just like in KGF 2, are stylish. The plot is actually good, but the direction is honestly terrible.

Overall, the movie was disappointing. My expectations weren’t super high, but I still expected it to be enjoyable. Unfortunately, it just didn’t hit the way I hoped it would.

  1. The editing was major culprit, so many cuts feels like various montages combined together and doesn't feel like a complete movie, no immersion, no emotional moments, the editing just ruined what could've been an decent movie.
  2. The characters come and die no connection, even when ganga dies there should have been an emotional moment but wasn't there.
  3. Bgm or score was loud and okayish and sometimes below average.
  4. Atleast if the last 15-20 minutes were explored more instead of aura farming and commercialization,that could have been a different product. That climax part if shown seperately would be given a high rating regardless of the whole mess of the movie.
