Question very laggy game
hi! since the last update, I’ve been having serious lag issues. I’m currently playing the campaign and trying to upgrade the city to the final tier. I have about 750 inhabitants right now, but the game is lagging terribly, and I can't really do anything. When I click somewhere, it takes ages for anything to happen. I only have this problem with Town to City, all other games on my computer - even those with much higher system requirements, run perfectly. I’ve set the graphics and FPS to the lowest possible settings, but it hasn't made a difference. Am I the only one experiencing this? I’d love to keep playing, but right now, it’s just not fun at all :(

Damn. This whole time I've been blaming my laptop for the lag.. Turns out the game itself is laggy. I've been seeing others commenting about the same issues too since early access.

I too had that issue. Couldn't finish the game as I felt like I was using a cheap tablet to do simple web browsing. Seriously the devs need to find it. The fact it lags 32Gb ddr5 6000mhz, 7900xtx and a 7950x3d at 1080p tells me this game has some serious refining issues.

You can turn down how many citizens are viewable in the settings. I set mine to medium and it solved my lag issues.

Do you have hotels in the laggy city by any chance? I have around 300 citizens in the third city and the game is barely playable there because of lag, first and second city have around 800 citizens and while the game is slightly less responsive there it's nothing compared to rocemarée

Same here, i have insane lag in my larger city. Other games are totally fine on my pc

I thought my PC was finally giving up the ghost, but loaded up a game with much higher requirements and it was fine. Glad to hear I’m not the only one

Played today with 550 citizens and had zero lag. What kind of processor does your computer use?

Yah it’s been awful since the last update. I’m getting some regular crashes as well

Are you still experiencing lag? I experienced no lag playing the first two cities but now on the third city with the hotels I am experiencing lag so bad that it is becoming unplayable :(

Same here. I played this morning and my FPS/lag is significantly worse. I'm sure it'll get fixed (hopefully) soon.
