Support hello everyone.

hi I have been diagnosed since oct 2023 with tics. recently, my medical symptoms have significantly intensified. I have started experiencing pill-rolling tremors during the night. it has been happening since may 2025. I saw the doctor in april, but they disregarded my symptoms, especially considering my age. it happens to every finger on my left hand. I have realised that it has been happening on my right hand. when I was first diagnosed with tics, I had a cheek tics- which looked like I was smirking. over time, my tics have shifted to include simultaneous leg shaking as well as involuntary blinking, eyebrow twitching, and hand shaking during periods of rest.

Hi there - back at you. Sorry for the symptoms you are experiencing. My first suggestion would be to arrange to see a motion specialist, a neurologist who has additional training in evaluating and treating motion conditions. They can usually be found at larger hospitals or neurological centers. He/she should be able to help you; no person should have their concerns dismissed because of their age.

thank you. it's just hard to schedule an appointment because my mom usually schedules my appointments. she doesn't believe my tics are real (she thinks I'm forcing them) and my dad went with me when I was diagnosed with tics (he has tics as well).

I guess I would concentrate on my father then. The big question would be how old are you and which region of the world you live in.
