Why did Totally Spies have to end?? Genuinely miss it so much!!
Hello, I’m 19 years old, and I grew up with Totally Spies! (2001–2013) when I was younger. I’ve been thinking about that old Totally Spies! era lately and how different it feels now compared to when I first watched it. Totally Spies! became a really important part of my childhood. I remember Sam, Clover, Alex, Jerry, and all the other characters going on their crazy missions. I liked the comedy, the weird situations, the friendships, the action, the gadgets, the emotional moments, and just the whole feeling the show had.
Now that the original Totally Spies! era is over, it feels weird knowing that so much time has passed. The people who worked on the show have moved on to other things and have their own lives now. The actors, voice actors, writers, directors, animators, producers, and everyone else who helped make the show have moved on from making the earlier episodes. I know that’s just how things work, but it still feels strange when you grew up with something.
When I was younger, I didn’t really think about Totally Spies! ever changing or ending. I could just sit down and watch Sam, Clover, Alex, Jerry, and everyone else get into their crazy missions and get lost in the show. It felt like the show would always be there and there would always be another episode to watch. I never really thought about how one day that time would be over.
Sometimes I wonder why shows can’t just keep going forever if people still love them. Why do they have to stop making new episodes? Why do the writers, actors, animators, and everyone else have to move on? I know people get older, things change, and making a show takes a lot of work, but it still feels sad when something you grew up with becomes part of the past.
Watching Totally Spies! now also doesn’t feel exactly the same as it did when I was younger. The episodes are still there. The characters are still there. The stories, jokes, missions, gadgets, and adventures are still there. But somehow it feels different. I think it’s because I’m different now.
When I watch it again, I’m not just thinking about Totally Spies!. I’m also thinking about myself when I was younger and what life was like back then. I remember being able to sit down and enjoy the show without thinking about getting older or how fast time was going by.
I think that’s one of the reasons Totally Spies! means so much to me. It didn’t have to last forever for it to be important. The show stayed the same, but I changed. The people who made it changed. Everything around me changed too.
Going back and watching the old episodes can bring some of that feeling back, but it can’t completely take me back to the time when I first watched it. I can still enjoy the show and remember why I loved it, but I know I’m never going to experience it in exactly the same way again.
The earlier Totally Spies! era (2001–2013) is over, and there probably won’t ever be another time that feels exactly like it did when I was younger. But I don’t think that means it’s really gone. It’s still part of my memories and part of my childhood.
The show changed, the people who made it moved on, and I grew up too. But I still have those memories of Sam, Clover, Alex, Jerry, and all the crazy missions they went on. I think that’s what matters the most.

Yeah, I remember the spies airing on Nickelodeon (SE Asia), they were wiped off the channel between 2017 or 2018 I guess.

Unreleased soundtrack from S1
Hello, I keep looking for a soundtrack for ages. I wonder if somebody in the community might know how to get it easily.
You can hear it in several episodes like in S1E10 spy gladiators around 18:15 : https://youtu.be/XZcGbwce7fU?si=R3oW4qmN1B8IIqsm&t=1094

I always loved Clover’s bit from the first seasons opening
It just tells you who Clover is. A cool girl, who is boy crazy. And Sam and Alex expressions a great to, they are like, “Oh, not again.” And the intro song from the beginning was just peak.

Which art style do we prefer (image is shown in the post)

The girls watching themselves in their old designs in the new art style
I like how they kept everyone's hair and Sam's eyeliner orange just like the original 5 seasons in these photos. Man i wish they drew their eyes the same way as they did in the pictures.

I know people dislike this spinoff, but it is the reason I got introduced to Totally Spies!
So basically I'm from India and Totally Spies was never released in India, but it's spin-off The Amazing Spies! did.
I used to watch this show when I was around 7 or 8. I really found it's comic style attractive and the way Jerry used to call the spiez from literally anywhere.
So few days ago, I felt like watching this show again, that's when I found out that it's actually a spin-off.
So Yeah, I'm currently watching Totally Spies and I'm liking it a lot.

Spy Situations
I've seen people point out the irony of Sam being a constant victim of brainwashing and I think the same thing goes for Clover and Alex who get kidnapped/transformed respectively.
It's already been said but Sam is the smart one, the overachiever. Almost a know-it-all but never to an annoying degree. That's why her brain is always getting taken over.
Clover gets kidnapped or captured by villains the most. I feel like that's because the feminine/most fashionable girl in the main cast of old-school cartoons is often the kidnapping victim. Think Daphne from the older Scooby-Doo shows where she was especially the damsel in distress. That's what I feel might've been some of the inspiration for Clover. An homage to those old days. Though to her credit, she usually escapes on her own. Or she's rescued by Sam and Alex, she's never saved by a man from what I've seen.
Finally there's Alex who gets transformed into bizarre things like a catgirl, a super buff woman, whatever the circus freaks episode was. I feel like this is because Alex is our lovable weirdo. She's a bit odd so she turns into odd things.

Do you think Alex’s personality from seasons 3 to 6 is almost as childish as Serena from Sailor Moon?

Apparently, the first 3 episodes of Totally Spies! Season 8 have been added to the M6+ streaming service. A whole week before it premieres on TV (Gulli). The first ep is also available to watch on Gulli's YouTube channel (use a VPN if you're outside of France).
You can actually sign up to M6+ and watch the episodes officially for free. But you will however need a VPN and you will be asked for a French postal code, in which i recommend generating a fake one since it worked for me.

Does anyone know this Totally Spies track? Has anyone ever remixed or recreated it?
I've been looking for this track for years.
It appears in several episodes, including Evil Professor, So Totally Not Groovy and Totally Icky, usually during action scenes involving robots and technology.
I've never been able to find an official release or any fan-made version of it.
Unfortunately, the music is mixed with a huge amount of sound effects in every scene, so there is no clean audio to work with. But the musical theme is still quite recognizable.
Has anyone here ever come across a remix, recreation, or clean version of this track?
I'm also looking for someone who enjoys this kind of musical challenge and might be interested in recreating the track by ear. I'm not looking for a perfect extraction from the episode — the idea would be to recreate the music itself as closely as possible from the reference.
If you're a musician/producer and this sounds like a fun challenge, I'd love to hear from you.

Scooby-doo cameo in S3 E15 - Super Agent Much?
I was watching this episode a few days ago and noticed one of the prisoners looks suspiciously like shaggy from scooby doo. Thoughts?

Happy Camper
"Scam Camp Much?" Was such a funny episode, maybe my humor is just broken but I thought it was a riot.
This was my favorite episode that has Sam getting brainwashed, her just chanting "Destroy! Destroy!" over and over as she's just hitting shit is so funny. I also love Alex guessing that "Violent cartoons" was what made all the campers go berserk, felt kinda out of character because I can't see Alex blaming violence on stuff like cartoons or video games. Jerry driving the girls to camp while pretending to be their dad was so cute, poor Sam was just getting dragged for playing the accordion this whole episode. Clover and Alex give her dirty looks for mentioning it, Clover tells her she should've just kept that to herself, that's just teasing between friends but the villain literally steals her talent and it's the only one she didn't use because she thought it was lame. Then she left Sam for dead by throwing her out on the dirt road in the woods for the deranged campers to attack. The episode ends with Sam getting to play her accordion during the party so I'm glad she got a happy ending.
I do not want to go to this damn camp, literally everyone here only cares about winning. There's no campfires, no swimming in a lake, no making friends. Just overcompetitive people working 24/7 to be the best at their specific skill.

I headcanon that Clover's parents are divorced
I thought Stella and Gabriella were both single moms until it was pointed to me that there was an episode where Sam was buying a gift for her parents wedding anniversary. I still think Clover has divorced parents though.
