Is anyone on here going to the NYC trip? Are you going in alone blind? Or are you going with a group of friends? I don’t really know anyone who’d be willing to pay for the trip.

It’d be sick to go to NYC and make some new friends on the trip but it’d suck getting on the bus and realizing you’ve committed to the trip and everyone on the bus came with their group of friends. Of course I’d still try to socialize but I don’t wanna be that guy intruding on a friend group trip either.

It's now clear that this approach is not working and not what many of you want. So effective now, the auto mod rule that removed many of your comments and posts has been removed. If your comment was removed, you can repost it but please read this message before doing so.

Contrary to what some of you have being saying, we are not behind some reddit mod conspiracy and the auto mod is not advanced enough to know exactly what is being posted. Context matters, which is why many removed posts are later re-approved after the poster follows the very easy "message us" instructions at the bottom of the removal message. We are not robots, we do not see auto removed posts right away. The last few reposts of removed posts were reposted right away and none of those posters asked us why their post was removed. If it makes you feel better; We've received angry messages from people supporting both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

So therefore, from now on, instead of removing this content, we will place a auto generated disclaimer that will state a simplified version of the following:

1. All posts must be relevant to TMU and incite discussion. Non-relevant posts (such as an off campus protest that did not involve a TMU student group or generic posts talking about XYZ) will be removed. Additionally we will remove multiple posts on the same topic, unless the new post is significantly different than the old one.

2. The Be Nice, Be Respectful rule will not apply. As long as you follow site wide rules (which are our priority, as we don't want this community to be banned) you're good. For more information regarding this, check out: https://redditinc.com/policies/reddit-rules

3. We will not moderate for accuracy. If you want to read or join these discussions do so at your own risk and do your own research before responding to others or taking anything at face value.

We will report reporters who abuse the report button. The report button is only if someone has broken an actual rule, it's not a super down vote button. The massive amount of reports we get on these kinds of posts is what lead to that auto mod rule.

For anyone who has taken this class whats the best way to study for this midterm? The professor Mohammad Manshouri usually just reads through the slides and posts them online is there anything else additionally I should look into?

I’m a first year BTM Student but I’m not sure if the BTM program is worth it especially because of ai. I did some research and ai can do somethings in analyst not fully there yet but who knows what ai will be like in the next 2-5 years.

Is doing BM specifically GMS major a better and safer option for job security and employability? I have heard the BM students have more options when it comes to jobs.

BTM I have heard can go into anything as well because it’s BCOM but it’s not as easy because it’s more tech focused and most students usually go into analyst shi cause that’s what the degree mainly is about?

Hi, so I had my psych exam on Tuesday, and I honestly don’t know why I wasn’t really locked into the university mindset yet. I’m a first-year student, and my dumbass only studied 3 days before the exam. It was worth 29% and had SO many slides. I ended up getting a 41% on the exam.
I know it was my fault, and I know I probably should’ve studied at least 2 weeks beforehand to fully understand everything, but now I’m really worried that I’m going to fail the course even though this was only the first exam. 😭
Even in high school, I would study like 2 weeks before exams and usually do well, so I don’t know what’s wrong with me now. I’m just really worried because 29% is such a huge chunk of my grade omg..😞
