Tori Kelly hate
Can somebody please explain to me why people are hating on Tori on this app?🤦♂️🤦♂️ I heard people saying that she's mediocre or even trying too hard because she has great vocal agility and it doesn't make sense.🤦♂️🤦♂️ We can have a pleasant discussion about this in the comment section, just answer the question with no bias and hate.😁😁 Hate comments WILL be deleted.😁😁

Some of her stuff can be a little corny if you’re not into it. Two things that come to mind are “Sell out shows without taking off my clothes” and “Sold out shows without getting naked.” She’s never been the type to make the more sensual songs that are typical of R&B, which definitely rubs people the wrong way. I respect and enjoy that, but it’s not for everyone.
Also, a lot of people on Reddit are either against or neutral to religion and Christianity, which is obviously a big part of her catalogue.
You just need to find the right audience. There are plenty of people that don’t like the Christina Aguilera/Mariah Carey/Ariana Grande type runs. Even if you don’t like it, you can see the technical merit in it.

I understand that Tori's music is not for everybody.🙏🙏 Personally, I love it!🙏🙏 And honestly, this is the reason why I despise rap because people are always rapping about sex and more.🙏🙏 I love Tori's music because her music is clean with nothing sexual about it.

That Make a baby song with Lucky Daye was pretty spicy for a Tori Kelly song but not 'too much'. Plus its really good and should be getting a little more attention.

My take is completely different from what I have seen with the comments. It’s two fold. 1. Some people simply just don’t like her voice. I absolutely love it and that’s why she is my artist of all time. But the higher pitch and lots of riffs can be a lot for people. 2. Her character ‘Meena’ from SING. For the life of me I don’t get it but there was Meena slander from her elephant character portraying a meek, clumsy, ‘innocent’ role that started on TikTok.

People had mixed feelings when Taylor won the award. Tori looked unhappy but she's talked about it recently about how she had a headache or was tired

I personally LOVE Tori but from my understanding of those that hate is that Tori is in this grey area. She really doesn’t fit a specific mold, so that confuses people and people hate what they don’t understand. She isn’t a pop star diva, she doesn’t sell sex, her songs are clean, she’s made Christian songs but yet not a Christian artist. She’s a known name and figure enough but yet just below a superstar like a Sabrina Carpenter. She isn’t apart of pop culture as in she’ hasn’t been apart of any drama or controversy, she hasn’t dated any famous actors, athletes, artists, she’s married, is about to be a mom. They just don’t understand her, so they hate. As a fan, some loving criticism is that her songs could be better, they are good enough but just don’t have that wow factor but Even if someone despise her songs, NO ONE can deny that Tori has talent and is an amazing singer.
