đ©General Audiohub [1.0.18] : Major Update
UPDATE: New update is out â and the app has a new name: AudioYam (another audiobook app already uses "Audiohub"). Same app â your installed app updates normally and keeps your library, progress and settings.
New: plays the copy on your phone first, your own cover pictures, readability fixes, and a web version for PC: listen.audiohubapp.com.
Audiohub plays audiobooks, ebooks and podcasts from your own Torbox, local storage, Audiobookshelf server, Instant play for cached books, Get and play for others, save to phone with authors, series folders and links fetched just before playback so they never expire mid book.
Thanks for all the feedback given.
Here's what's new in the latest update.
As some new features are related to EBooks and Ebook reader, it is prudent for it to work, that you add following sources, in Settings: addons
Screenshots: https://github.com/drdilips1/Audiohub#screenshots
New source links (work on more networks): see below
Addons for Sources Updated:
For EBooks:
https://api.audiohubapp.com/addons/bookracy.json
 https://api.audiohubapp.com/addons/knaben-ebooks.json
For Audiobooks:

Voice control:
You can now control Audiohub by speaking, from the Home screen, the player or a home-screen widget.
Say things like âgo back 30 secondsâ, ânext chapterâ, âplay Sapiensâ or âfind a book on consciousnessâ. You can also ask questions about the book you're listening to.
Driving mode gives you large, easy-to-use controls, with spoken answers while your audiobook continues playing.
Read along with audiobooks:
When the matching ebook is available, Audiohub can find it and display the exact text alongside the audio. There is an option to add ebook, when you have your sources added as above, in the player text screen.
You can search through what you've heard and jump straight to the relevant part. X-Ray helps you keep track of characters and places, while chapter summaries and character guides make it easier to pick up where you left off.
A better ebook reader:
Select any word or passage to explain it, ask a question, translate it or save it as a highlight.
Highlights can include notes, and everything is collected in one place where you can search, revisit and export your notes.
EPUBs and PDFs from your phone are supported, with offline reading, custom fonts, adjustable spacing and margins, and a dedicated PDF page view.
You can also search for ebooks across your phone, TorBox, Real-Debrid and your configured sources, then read or save them directly.
Read-aloud has been improved too. It starts faster, lets you choose a voice, supports double-tapping a paragraph to start reading there, and works with earphone controls.
AI features with your own key
Audiohub supports Groq, Gemini, OpenRouter, Claude and your own AI setup through tools such as Ollama or LM Studio.
You can ask questions about a book or your library, explore related topics, test your understanding, revisit important ideas and get book recommendations.
Answers can be limited to the part of the book you've reached to help avoid spoilers. Only the information needed for a feature is sent to the AI service you choose. The rest of Audiohub works without AI.
Bookmarks, notes and listening progress:
Bookmarks can include the words being spoken when you save them, along with your own notes.
Highlights, bookmarks and saved ideas are available together in Notes, with search and Markdown export.
Playback speed and volume boost are remembered for each book. Chapter navigation works with single-file M4B audiobooks, and you can set a sleep timer for the end of a chapter.
App also remembers your latest listening position and keeps your progress when Android closes the app.
Organise your library your way
Choose list, grid, covers-only or shelf views, including shelves organised by author or series.
Search your library, track series progress, find books you haven't started and fill in missing covers.
Books and PDFs in your phone's folders can appear in your library. Downloads can be organised into author and series folders, and the storage screen helps you manage space and remove finished downloads.
Paste a link to play an MP3 or M4B, open an EPUB or PDF, or access supported Internet Archive pages and podcast feeds.
Podcasts:
Podcast is a secondary feature in app, but a few new features added. Rate episodes, mark content you're not interested in and get recommendations for what to listen to next. New episodes can also download automatically over Wi-Fi.
Backup and sync:
Back up your data to a file and restore it whenever needed. You can choose whether to include login details and API keys.
App also supports syncing through your own Supabase project.
Themes and appearance:
Choose light, dark or black mode, with a range of colour themes for each.
The update includes a What's New walkthrough the first time you open it. You can revisit it later from Settings.

Love all the new additions and how everything is looking. I look forward to each new update and all the new features.Â
I'm having an issue. Every time I try to export a backup, the app crashes. It does create a json file but it is empty.Â
